First thing that you need to think of for camping supplies is storage items, which is most easily overlooked .If your camping trip is in an RV then this should never be the problem. But incase you are not using RV for you camping and you will be camping to a distant place, then the most important item of your camping supplies becomes storage items.



Cameras, clothing, matches,and other things of prime impprtamce are very easy to carry on a backpack .Make sure your back pack is water proof if you are using it for camping. Pack these items in a polythene bag before placing them in your backpack along with other camping supplies.

Things like perishable foods, fruit juices are best to store in a cool bag which can be attached to one of the accessory loops of your backpack. Though its good to carry only foods that will stay for camping supplies, such as tinned foods or dried foods.

Most of the sleeping bags come with some kind of bag but usually they are not waterproof, therefore you may require getting a different bag which is water proof in order to keep your bedding dry. Roll mats are normally waterproof and these do not require even storage and can be just tied to the side or top of the backpack.

One more essential thing to remember in your camping supplies list is first aid kit. Cuts and bruises or even burns can happen even in the most peaceful camping, therefore never forget to carry first aid kit in your camping supplies for first aid treatment. Insects can also pose a problem; therefore also carry insect sprays, repellent ointments without which your camping adventure may turn into a bad experience.

It also depends on the place you choose to camp on, how distant the place is from city, which may make carrying some special equipment mandatory along with your camping supplies. Flares are important and very useful; these can be seen from a distance in case you in some form of trouble .

These flares are understood s a call for help. Carrying cell phone all the time is also important along with an extra battery which is fully charged. Also pack spare pegs for your tents if you intend to use a tent. You can loose them very easily and a tent cannot be erected safely without these pegs.
