When we are children we tend to dream about what we will do as adults. The many careers that we select are ones like police officers, school teachers, doctors, astronauts, cowboys and movie stars. We tend to aspire to be what we see. While these tend to be childhood dreams that some of us follow, others will go into totally different directions. One of the biggest hurdles on might need to overcome is not taking their problems on as your own. These problems will need to be handled with care, understanding, detachment and patience. For the person who has these traits finding good careers in psychology will not be a problem. So, remember a career in psychology can be rewarding.
