Carrie Underwood shone once again on the recently concluded 50th Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles . The ceremony was held February 10 and the American Idol winner bagged home the Best Female Country Vocal Performance award for her song ?Before He Cheats.? Underwood edged out singers Alison Krauss, Miranda Lambert, LeAnn Rimes and Trisha Yearwood. Donning a floral-print Zuhair Murad dress, Underwood also performed ?Before He Cheats? live onstage during the event.



Underwood hasn't forgotten the people who have contributed to her success. She thanked American Idol once more for giving her the exposure and the opportunity to make it. Joining and winning in the season 4 of the reality TV talent search got her career started, and Underwood never fails to recognize and acknowledge this fact.
