The voice is picked up by the microphone in the hearing aid and then transmitted back through the cell phone. Using this process, designers have been able to completely eliminate the dreaded buzzing feedback that typically happens when trying to use a phone and hearing aid at the same time.

Are you wondering if you can afford such a helpful device? Well, the initial cost of the cell phone hearing aids is about $300 dollars. This is a fair price but users should be on the look out for the prices to come down even further as other companies put similar products on the market. This cell phone hearing aids are not perfect though. It does have some compatibility issues. The main problem right now is that the technology will only work with the type of hearing aids that are worn behind the ear. If you have a hearing aid that fits in the inside of your ear than you unfortunately are out of luck for the time being. Don't worry though; it should not be long before everyone can utilize the cell phone hearing aid technology. It is also important to make sure that the hearing aid is compatible with your particular cell phone.
