Several relationships ended, years of finding the “right man" have passed and finally I got married about 2 months ago. A few days ago, when I was about to sleep, I reminisced my past before settling down and the funny thing was, here is what I have realized... choosing your partner in life is just like choosing an outsourcing partner.



A partner that accepts you for who you are

There are many kinds of organizations that outsource. You have to make sure that the outsourcing partner accepts the projects with business nature such as yours, whether it be mainstream, adult sites or others.

A partner that will consult you in making big decision

Of course, as a partner, you want to be consulted on every part of the relationship. Major decisions should be discussed with each other to be able to attain a good relationship. But ideas and perceptions should be taken into considerations of both parties which will bring us to the next trait.

A partner that will bring something new to the relationship

Aside from reducing the cost, innovation is probably the main reason for outsourcing. Your partner should be able to introduce new concepts or new ideas to develop your business in relation with IT.

A partner that can harmonize with your extended family

In an organization, your extended family is your existing technology. Your partner should be able to co-exist with your foregoing technology. Same with marriage, your partner should be able to mingle and jive with your relatives.

A partner that treat other people well

Keep in mind that motivation is still the key to productive employees. You have to know if your partner handles his employee well because you have to think that they should be treated as your employees also. They will do the work for you so they have to grow in their field because it will eventually reflect in your organization.

A partner that listens to every detail you say

It is important that your partner catches every little detail you say. Remember that those details is what you want and what you think would enhance the project.

A partner whom you can trust

You should be able to trust your partner to keep you worry-free of any occurrence that would cause problem in the relationship. You don't want to be deceived money-wise or get disappointed with a low quality service. You outsource because it gives you longer time to sleep thinking your partner will be able to meet your deadline. You can't stay in a relationship if your always thinking that your partner can't be left alone and should always be looked over.

Just remember that in any relationship, it must be a two-way street. Cooperation from both sides are needed. And being committed there should be an open communication line. That goes for choosing an outsourcing partner and choosing a partner in life.
