It's not difficult to find tuxedos for weddings, but sometimes it can be difficult to understand the different components and accessories that go with this type of formal wear. While there are plenty of knowledgeable sales associate to help you understand every part of tuxedos for weddings, it never hurts to do a little research up front so that you have some knowledge when speaking to formalwear sales attendants.



When the term accessories are used with tuxedos for weddings, it refers to the extras besides the jacket and trousers. This includes the cummerbund or vest, tie, shirt, hat, gloves, shoes, studs, suspenders, ascot, spats, cane and socks.

A cutaway jacket, also called a morning coat, is a long jacket that's popular with daytime tuxedos for weddings. Sometimes they're worn for other daytime formal affairs. The jacket is rounded off at the bottom and has no satin. If you're a small man with shorter arms, you may find arm bands useful.
