It can be hard to feel at home when you're on holiday and staying in a hotel. This is because there are lots of other people and all you have to yourself is a bedroom and a bathroom. You don't even have to worry about whether you are going to like the hotel food or not as they are self catering so you can eat whatever you want. With winter just around the corner cottage holidays seem like the perfect excuse to gather around the fireplace with loved ones.
