Records generally have a short span of life, unless they are some exceptional record which needs extraordinary talent and ability to be broken. But everywhere you see, especially in the field of sports players just chase records. Just like any other sport, cricket is another game where cricket records hold a significant sway over proceedings. Cricket records had driven players earlier, drive people now and will continue to drive players in future to strive and reach out towards what they feel is the most significant achievement in the game. Sachin also holds the record for scoring the maximum number of runs in one Day Internationals and that easily surpasses the 10 thousand mark. In fact he is inching towards the 15 thousand run mark and needs just about 40 runs to achieve that. Thais is one cricket record that will need some time to be broken.
