Custom designed engagement rings can be an excellent option for those couples looking for something a little different. They can also be great for those who have old stones or diamonds that they may wish to have redesigned. Great Aunt Mildred's ring may be a little tired or worn, but the diamond could be a beauty. Engagement rings that have been custom designed can allow you to incorporate ideas from various rings that you have admired. Alternatively, you may be seeking a truly one-off design. Consider these hints when seeking a custom designed engagement ring.

* References. Do you know anyone else with a custom designed engagement ring? If so, ask them who they used. Do your research.
