Custom Holiday Greeting Cards

Custom greeting cards are indeed a great thing to give to your family and friends. If you already have formed a habit of giving custom greeting cards though, then it is important to keep changing and improving them. This constant change and improvement is good because it keeps your greeting cards looking fresh and new, preventing you from sending the same type of custom greeting cards over and over. There are several ways to do this to improve your designs when you print greeting cards.



Make use of new and popular references: One great thing to do to make greeting cards sound fresh is to make use of popular references. For example you can relate the message about a new president, use a popular catch phrase, or allude to a recent special event. By relating to these recent events and references people will know that the custom greeting was created fairly recently. It is not just a remake of other past custom cards it is a new greeting card that has been especially made for the receiver. This should increase the impact of the greeting card since they will know what you are talking about.

Try a different angle: Also, you can try a different concept or approach in your custom greeting. For example, if you have been using funny messages for your custom greeting cards, why not try a different angle and go for a more poetic greeting? On the other hand, if you have always been formal with your greeting cards, why not add in a casual message or even a joke or two? By just changing your message angle, people should already feel the difference once they read the message. It is a good way to sound new, and perhaps hopefully it should also be an improvement from the previous message as well.

Use a different color: Of course, what any kind of improvement can you make without changing some major visual elements? Changing the greeting card's dominant color is a great way to improve it. Just a little change from the standard white to other more vibrant colors can really help make a greeting card look festive and cheerful. In fact, by changing the color of your custom greeting cards periodically, you can keep making them look better and fresh every batch. People will definitely notice the creativity and thought that was put into these constantly changing designs.

Change the greeting card format: Lastly, you can also attempt to change the whole greeting card format itself. From the standard portrait design of your greeting cards, why not change it to a landscape orientation? Also you can change the greeting card's size to larger or smaller dimensions. Trying different shapes may also be a good idea to further emphasize your message. By just changing the format of the business card to something other than the standard, it already becomes something totally new and very eye catching indeed.

Great! Those are just some of the great ideas to improve your custom greeting cards. Just use your imagination and you should come up with more improvement techniques. All it takes is a little determination and imagination and you should be able to improve your greeting cards year after year.
Custom Holiday Greeting Cards
This was a photograph of a family - a family not different from mine. It had a Merry Christmas greeting on it so I went on to look at the message inside. The inside page was quite revealing. It asked its reader if they were ready to lose their family. My initial reaction was fear and surprise. Why would this lady give me a greeting card that is quite disquieting?

My interest was now caught so I asked her what that custom card meant. She then revealed to me that something as precious as my family could suddenly be all gone if I do not prepare myself. Prepare myself for what? She continued by saying that in these times, no one knows what may happen. She then talked about earthquakes, floods, and hurricanes. It turned out that she was an insurance agent.

That company got through me with their custom greeting card. When I saw that family and the possibility of losing them, I thought I'd give that lady my attention. Needless to say, this marketing strategy worked.

If you really want to get somebody's attention, you must appeal to their emotions. You must be able draw out from people their emotions. Printing greeting cards like that one made me realize something important. It touched what I hold dear, my family.

After that greeting card, it would be up to your agent to capture that emotion. Listen to these opening lines:

1) Do you value your family? If you can spare me five minutes, I will tell you all about how you can value them more.

2) What a lovely family! I am sure your family is just like that in the photograph. If you value you them so much, I can share with you some proposal to make them more secure.

Now, tell me how you would respond to these.

Marketing should be personal. It is the most welcome approach. It is unobtrusive unlike your elevator pitch. Remember, never for one moment think of a person as a mere client or a potential customer. Your customer is a person.

A lot of companies can learn from this tenet. If you really want to get your product or service accepted, you must learn to accept the fact that your customers are human. And as human beings they have emotions and feelings. The key here is to make your approach in more human. A custom print card is an example of this strategy. The greeting cards give some human touch.

Always remember that to be successful in marketing, you must accept that your clients are persons first and foremost. They're being buyers are only secondary.
