I think one of the reasons it is so popular, is because many people type e-mails or other forms of data on a regular basis so they feel comfortable with the concept.
There are many different types of Data Entry programs to choose from. I have identified a few below:
* Rebate Processing
* Typing Simple Data Entry
* Data Entry (Clerical work at home)
* Medical Transcription
* Paid Surveys
These programs are similar with subtle variations. All of these home-based programs can be worked virtually from anywhere. If you have access to the Internet, a computer and some free time you are good to go to access this cash machine.
You may be wondering how often you get paid with these programs. Most of them either pay bi-weekly or monthly. You have multiple choices on how your are paid. Some of the choices are PayPal, direct deposit, check, AlertPay and wire transfer. If you get with good companies I have found they pay like clock work. It is a very good feeling to see your online income flowing in after you have put in the work.
It's important to remember that it takes a little time to get your work at home endeavor up and running. If the company pays every 2 - 4 weeks than you will have at least that amount of time before you get paid.
It's important to research any programs carefully. There are many bad companies and scam artists looking to take advantage of anyone they can. I recommend using a website like mine, but it does not have to be mine, or be prepared to put in the considerable time to do the research yourself.
Do not jump at the first program you seeing promising you tons of cash for doing practically nothing. If it seems to good to be true than it more than likely is. This is a good way to make a substantial income, in my opinion, but you have to be smart about it. You will have to do some work to get paid. On the other hand you will be working from the comfort of your home or wherever you choose.
Take your time, do your research, join 2 - 3 programs that meet your work at home profile. Work hard and exercise patience with any programs you may choose. Keep an open mind to new ways to create income. The Internet cash cow is unlike your typical day job for sure. Once you have worked the 2 - 3 compatible programs for a while you can later focus on the ones you enjoy most. By then you will have a much better understanding of which types of work at home programs you like best. Please feel free to read both this article or one of my many others by visiting my link in the resource box below. I always enjoy getting emails pertaining to my articles or my site. Your feedback is important to me.
I wish you the best.
Data Entry Interview Questions
For some reason I have always wondered what data entry was really like. We have all seen at least one TV show or movie with someone in it who did data entry as a living. The person was always portrayed as being massively bored with his/her job, and with a desperate desire to get out and find a better and more glamorous position. Actually didn't Chandler on friends do data entry for a while?
I always thought that it seemed as if it would be a pretty tedious position and one that causes a lot of carpel tunnel and bad vision, not to mention a bad back from sitting in an invariably uncomfortable chair all day long. It also always seemed as if it was something that a trained monkey could do, not really that complicated or requiring too much brain power.
I am still not 100% sure what it is like. I don't think I can actually say I know anyone who does data entry, although I must. I mean it has to be a pretty big job class right? I mean every company in the word has data and I am pretty sure most of them need it entered into something at some point in time. There must be a lot of people to do this. Surely someone I have met does this. And actually after my recent discovery that you can do data entry at home I have to say I am considering it.
