A dependence on the caffeine either through coffee or drugs may lead to the caffeine intoxication. The common symptoms of caffeine intoxication are:



Faster heart beats, occasional headache, stomach upset, increased level of cholesterol, heart burn, insomnia and many more. These are the situations when you need to follow a caffeine detox diet.

If you are seriously considering a caffeine detox, your goal should be to get completely rid of the addiction. Here is a step by step guide for relieving your body of caffeine toxins. – The first thing that you should remember with regard to caffeine detox is: your body should be adequately supplied with essential nutrients during the detox program when body is releasing the toxins. – The key to get rid of caffeine intoxication is following an alkaline diet. The intake of the foods causing acid like meat or sugar should be gradually reduced. Also avoidance of such foods as refined foods and baked foods will speed up the detox process. – An ideal caffeine detox diet consists of fresh fruits, vegetable salads, soups, greens, seaweed, corn, whole grains-cooked and sprouted, soy products, and some nuts and seeds. – You have to complement the diet by drinking at least six to eight glasses of filtered water every day. From time to time sip mineral waters. Consume baking soda or, potassium bicarbonate tablets, to enhance the alkaline effect. – Vitamin C supplementation is a must for caffeine detox diet. It also eases out the withdrawal symptoms and supports the adrenals. They also provide you an anti-stress protection. So a caffeine detox program must be replete with several grams of vitamin C along with minerals like potassium, calcium, magnesium, and zinc. – In order to get rid of the withdrawal symptoms, intake of vitamin B complex with extra pantothenic acid is highly recommended. – A caffeine detoxification, program should be stretched over a period of one week or two. This will help in avoiding extreme withdrawal symptoms.

As you shift from caffeinated beverages, you can include a number of herbal substitutes to give you a stimulating and refreshing boost. You can consider drinking the tea made of roasted herbal roots like barley, chicory, and dandelion, which will nourish your body in addition of boosting up your spirit. Herbal teas prepared with lemon grass, peppermint, ginger root, red clover, and comfrey are also good energizing alternatives to caffeinated beverages.
Detox Diet At Home
There are a number of things to consider if you are looking into a body detox diet. Detoxing the body is not something you should do every once in a while. It is actually something that should be done on a regular and even daily basis and one of the best ways to do that is through a body detox diet.

A body detox diet is going to be a diet that is filled with the ingredients necessary to help your body when it comes to using its natural methods of detoxification. It may surprise you at how easy you can do a body detox diet. It does not require and excessive amount of work or even a large number of exotic ingredients. Many of the foods we eat everyday when prepared properly can provide what the body needs to remove toxins.

The first thing to do is wean yourself off things that are toxic to your body but that are already part of daily life. These are things like sodas, coffee or caffeinated beverages, tobacco, processed foods, MSG which can be found in a number of different packaged mixes for everything from marinades to gravies. There are also certain types of cooking that should be avoided when you are considering a body detox diet.

For example, when you are looking at a body detox diet you should not eat any foods, which have been burned or charred in any way. The reason for this is that charred foods produce carcinogens, which are a known toxin. It is best to cook foods as lightly as possible when looking into healthy eating and a body detox diet. You do not want foods that are overly cooked because you doing this will cause them to lose many of the nutrients and you do not want to leave them too raw. Having raw fruits and vegetables are good but because of the amount of work that has to go in to processing them and the amount of material which cannot be processed because it is insoluble something that changes in some fruits and vegetables with cooking , you lose out on some of the benefits as well.

A body detox diet should have plenty of water, a good set of supplements, and plenty of fruits and vegetables that are both raw and lightly cooked. As much of what you eat as you can find and afford should be organic this is because in a body detox diet you are attempting to remove toxins, organics do not use preservatives, toxic substances or hormones in the growing process so they do not contain any additional toxins.

These can be expensive however, and depending on where you live you may not have a wide selection available. It is important to do the best that you can and eat as much as you can that is made from or is organic. This will help to make your body detox diet more successful. You can do a body detox diet with regular vegetables but keep in mind that you will be adding toxins back into your body so the detoxification process may take longer than 3 months for the complete detox and 28 days for the body detox diet.
