However, if you live in extreme elements like high winds or heavy loads, you will need to get a greenhouse that can handle your areas sever weather. Almost all of the greenhouses on the market today can handle most weather but you will need to be careful to make sure.

Along with this are the framework and panels that you believe will work best in your given environment. You can get aluminum, pvc or metal frame with glass, polycarbonate or plastic for the panels. Some of the sides come in rolls and are easy to install as well. Whatever you choose, make sure the rating UV rating is posted and is within the range for what you are planting.

Living in areas that reach below forty-five degrees for more than a few nights is a good reason to invest in a greenhouse heater. For other areas, you may get away with a couple of easy solutions that involve water. Water will hold heat for quiet some time and if you use five gallon buckets and let them sit out in the sun for the day and put them in the growing house for the night, you should be fine. Some people do boil water and set pots in the greenhouses to heat them overnight.

Always consider your foundation and how you will tie down your greenhouse. You can purchase tie-down kits for most greenhouses and they are highly recommended for all models. For those who live in high wind areas, you may want to buy two sets of the tie-downs just to make sure. Of course, this will depend on the size, style and type of greenhouse you end up using for your family.
