One accessory that is available for archers to store and carry around their arrows in is of course arrow cases. Most of these cases are padded on the bottom of the case with Notched foam, keeping the arrows secured and separated. These cases can hold anywhere from 18 to 36 arrows and up plus accessories. Other cases include crossbow cases, compound bow cases (hard and soft bow cases), traditional bow cases, and broadhead cases.
And of course to go along with your cases, you must first purchase a bow. There are a lot of different bows available on the market, but we'll discuss some which may be suited best for either hunting or competitive archery. One kind of bow on the market is the ?Little Apache Youth Bow? which is a set of bows. It's a 40? recurve bow with a 9.5? draw weight; ideal for kids just starting off in the sport of archery. Another type of bow is the ?Bear Turbo Fire Bow Set?. The set includes a 15 in-draw length, 2 Safetyglass arrows, a belt quiver and finger tab.
Much like bows, there are various types of arrows on the market as well. It all depends on the personal preferences of archer, but here are a few different types currently on the market. One is the ?Carbon Express ?Thunder Express? 26? Youth Arrow?. It has a durable fiberglass shaft, a perfect alternative for children's cedar arrows. They are in fact stronger and safer than cedar. Another specific arrow on the market is the ?Cajun Archery Cedar Arrow? with 4 inch feather. It's made from select grade orford cedar, has 11/32? Graded Shafts, 4? feathers, lightweight crimp-on target point and is available in 28? and 30? lengths. There are many different kinds of arrows out there including cedar arrows, wood arrows, fiberglass arrows, carbon arrows, and fletched arrows.
Another type of archery accessory is the silencer. One type of silencer currently available is the ?Bullet Slide?, which guarantees silent draw backs and reduces noise and friction. It's very durable and easy to install. The ?Release Loops? silencers are super strong with a tight braid, also to easy to install extra long, and come in either camo or black. Another kind of archery silencer is the ?Whisper Prong? silencer. There's zero noise on the draw when using it, a silky smooth release of arrow, and can be rotated to extend life. It fits on all standard 1/8? metal prongs.
The ?sight? is another important archery accessory. One type of sight is the ?Junior Sight?, which features a 6 inch aluminum extension bar, smooth micro windage adjustment, and has a calibrated sight tape, 8/32 ring. The ?Cartel Champion? sight is black anodized with 6? extension and a quick detach system. It's also comes with ring/dot sight aperture, mounting screws included.
Archery targets basically come in two different types: 3D Hunting types and flat targets used for competitive archers. 3D targets are almost always made to simulate animals found in hunting, such as bears, dears, ducks, and so on. In target hunting, there are competitions where archers shoot at 3D animal targets in forests or woods where one would normally hunt, shooting at selected targets and distances. Flat targets which are used mostly for practicing for competitive archery are flat with a series of rings around them. The center, otherwise known as the ?bull's-eye? is worth 10 points, then 9, 8, and so on as the rings go out from the middle.
Different Types Of Crosses
Airsoft magazines are designed to look and operate as closely to the real thing as possible. They are typically made of high impact plastic or full metal, depending on the quality of the airsoft gun. They usually feature a depressible spring to help you feed the BBs into the magazine. Also, they may include markings or engravings that are the same or similar to the real guns that inspired them.
For gas airsoft pistols, the clips are typically made of full metal, and are thick, because the gas chamber is located inside the magazine, with a valve at the bottom for reloading green (or other types of) gas.
Airsoft magazines can be further categorized by the number of BBs they can hold.
Real Capacity (Real-Cap) Airsoft Clips
Real-cap clips are designed to operate in the exact same way as the real weapon. The will hold exactly the same amount of BBs as the real life cousins will hold. Only the most serious airsoft players looking for military simulation and authenticity need this kind of clip.
Low Capacity (Low-Cap) Airsoft Clips
As the name states, these clips are designed to carry less ammunition, and are intended for the relatively serious airsoft player who wishes to be in life like situation, in which the airsoft gun will not have many rounds. For automatic electric guns (AEGs), these clips will generally not hold more than about 100 rounds.
Medium Capacity (Mid-Cap) Airsoft Clips
Without the need for extra moving parts, as in the case of high capacity clips, the mid-cap clip still enjoys the advantage of quietness, like the low-cap magazine. In the case of the mid-cap airsoft clip, you will generally be looking at somewhere between 100 - 200 rounds.
High Capacity (High-Cap) Airsoft Clips
To get the extra advantage of being able to pummel your opponents with a rain of fire, or to be able to cover a teammate well, the high capacity magazine will be your choice. A rotating toothed wheel may be used to transfer the BBs from a reservoir to the chamber, else a battery operated, pressure sensitive pad may be used to feed a BB into the chamber of the gun.
Although this type of magazine is great for automatic firing and suppression of the enemy, the high capacity magazine may have a tendency to rattle, as loose pellets roll around in the clip. This could be the disadvantage that allows the enemy to locate you, and thus you may be taken by surprise.
Like most everything, the different airsoft clips out there have advantages and disadvantages. So make sure that you know how you want to use the clip, before you go out there and get one of your own.
