The key here is to start buying a bell and then tying this bell on your doorknobs. Before you go out with your dog, be sure that you ring the bell and say "Gotta go potty? Gotta go outside?" Doing this often will help your dogs in getting familiar with the approach. They will then understand that when they ring the bell, it simply means they wish to go outside and do potty. However, dog owners should be wary at times since there are some instances that dogs ring the bell not because nature calls but because they want to go out. To avoid this, accompany your dogs especially when they are still starting to learn potty training. Make sure they really do potty and nothing else. Start the training by standing right in front of your dog and see to it that he/she is facing you. Say ?sit? firmly and try taking your hand and pushing him/her gently until the dog is already sitting. Once your dog successfully doe this, be sure to give him/her some treats. Have your dog get up again to repeat the process. Do this for about five to ten times per training. When laying down, you should also have dog treats with you as well. Make your dogs sit and then pull their front legs away until reaching to a laying down position and then say ??lie down?. Repeat the process as often as needed and be sure to give them treats and praise them. If you want your dog to learn how to ?shake?, have your pet dog sit and then gently grab their paw and then say ?shake?. Again, do not forget to give them treats.

Teaching dogs how to do the 'bye-bye' is quite tricky. When doing this, be sure your dogs already know how to 'shake'. Start by gently grabbing his paw, similar with shake and make an up and down motion. Continue training this until you can start leaving out the 'shake' command.
