YouTube streamed video are everywhere, and I must admit I'm addicted to the site. Nevertheless, I've had a couple of annoyances with YouTube videos. I wanted to be able to play my favorite ones on standalone window media player or to my video ipod. I also found I couldn't go backwards or forwards and there is always the risk of that videos can be taken down by YouTube. For those reasons, I decided to convert my favorite YouTube videos to mp4 formats.



How-To: download and convert YouTube videos for iPod or windows media Player.

The first step is to Download and install the free KeepV toolbar.

When the free toolbar is installed, go to your Youtube favorite video and click convert on the keepv toolbar.

If you have use the VideoLAN software, (a free software that play flash video), just click download.

Flash to 3GP (Mobile).
