Who's Dr Ron Paull? In spite of sixty thousand people donating in one day to his presidential campaign (generating over $6 million. First there is inflation. Inflation is currently around 10%s. There is no way to get a correct statistic what the inflation figure is because the Federal Reserve stopped telling us how many dollars they are printing out of thin air.



The result of this money manipulation, in the real world, a gallon of gasoline that cost $3 now costs $3.30!!! That's easily a couple hundred dollars per year on the inflation alone! Ok, so that is one head of the two headed beast.

But the other head is that about 47 cents of that $3.30 on each gallon is tax.

So about ? of what we pay at the pump is tax and inflation or so from the $3.30 and we would be paying $2.50 per gallon of gasoline. Which is way too high,still, but better. The government has contributed to the rapid increase price of gasoline in two other ways. One, the decline in value of the dollar is something that the Federal Reserve has created with unethical fiscal policies. It affects the price of gasoline beyond inflation. Since oil is practically a currency of its own, the decline in value of the dollar means that our dollar buys less gasoline! Also, government red tape has obstructed the opening of a single new refinery in this country since the 1970s!

So Dr Paul's legislation is a stop gap proposal that would prohibit the price of gasoline from rising above $3 and it also opens America up for business again in domestic oil including ending the moratorium on offshore drilling.

Because of profits being curtailed, Dr Paul's solution will more than likely not become law.

So what can we do?
