With so many people now looking at dropshipping as a way to make some extra cash more people are looking for companies by looking for a dropship review. Sadly con artist are catching on to this way of research and are therefore making it more difficult to find legitimate reviews.



Unfortunately it is very hard to know the honest reviews from those that are a complete lie. You may be wondering why someone would lie and write a dishonest review but it really is straight forward.

The dishonest reviews that you encounter are usually put there by the company themselves in one way or another. Paying for positive reviews is one reason these dishonest reviews exist but some are simply put up by the companies themselves.

Thanks to this it is difficult to find legitimate dropshippers just by reading a dropship review or two. If you want to therefore know for sure you are also going to have to conduct a little of your own research.

One place you should be looking at to improve your knowledge of a company is to check out a few of the forums that are related to dropshipping. These too can be invaded by site owners so look for comments written by members that have plenty of posts on the forum as a scammer is unlikely to make more than an handful of post.

Other things you can do is find out how long a company has been around, test any contact information you have and check to make sure that the company are a wholesaler and not a reseller. Resellers are more like middlemen that had a fee onto the wholesale price they pay and then they pass the goods onto you for there inflated price, this makes it extremely hard to make a profit.

In truth this can all be fairly hard work especially if you aren't having much look finding a legitimate company and are having to test more and more companies. The only other real option available is to use a dropshipping directory. These will provide a large list of dropshippers and, most importantly honest reviews written by there members.

One thing that may be seen as a negative about using a directory though is that the better ones will have a membership fee involved. This however is to be expected as they do have staff to pay and other expenses. One big benefit of a fee though is that it tends to keep the scammers out meaning that any reviews or feedback found within the members area will most likely be legitimate.

Looking for an honest dropship review can be very difficult and also take a lot of effort so I would advise spending a little on a membership fee for a directory as in the long run this will increase the speed of your dropshipping venture becoming profitable. However if you don't use a directory then at least make sure that you do the proper research when you try to find a dropshipping company.
