Are they real?Did someone really make $500 in 48 hrs online?

The answer in many cases is yes, more than likely at some point someone made $500 in their first 48hrs in a program and someone undoubtedly made $5,000 in their first 5 days.These aren't make believe, technically, however there is one thing that these ads don't say. ..how the individual did it.That's what this article is about.

The question you should ask that needs to be answered is ?How do I make money online???

In many cases, the online gurus are telling the truth about their earnings. What only a few will tell you is how and that it cost them thousands of dollars, 50 different programs, and maybe a few former friends they asked 7 times to attend their ?party?, before they figured it out. So what was the breakthrough? How did they crack the code?

They overcame these two pitfalls to making money online:

1) Lack of Focus

2) Unreasonable Expectation

My mentor made almost $132,000 online last month in one program.He said this to me ?I only focus on one program at a time. I focus on what is most important to my business first, and I do it over and over, day after day after day.?

Now when you read that doesn't it make complete sense'If you are doing 5 different programs and are incredibly organized then more power to you, but in my experience the more on the plate the less the important things are getting done.John Addison, success trainer and founder of Primerica, put it best when he said that ? most people that get into business are like an octopus on roller skates, a whirr of activity, but they aren't getting anywhere.?

It's very easy to get caught up in 10 different things when trying to make money online, this causes one to be overwhelmed and once that sets in its hard to reverse. Then before you know it the hopeful decides that ?it? doesn't work and quits.

1- Making money online is simple and easily summed up as:

Identifying a profitable niche then creating a website or blog around that niche then driving traffic to it and finally using a number of ways to make money from that traffic.

A little more insight into my own experience. I became interested in making money online about 6 months ago. I was like every one else, I bought some simple How To programs. They only give you the tip of the iceberg on making money online.

Identifying a profitable niche, creating a website or blog, driving traffic, make money, are you kidding !!!!! I didn't have a clue.

I finally created my first blog , YAHOO !. I also learned some things about affiliate marketing, building a website, landing pages, adwords, adsense, driving traffic, and a few things on what NOT to do by trial and error.

Also the one big thing, I have learned, is, there are a lot of little tools and steps you must take to be successful at this business.

2 ? What are the main 5 reasons people are not successful online?

They are confused and totally overloaded with options. They have to much information and don't know where to start.

They don't have step by step system or blueprint to follow.

They pick the wrong niche market because they haven't researched properly and haven't used the available tools and resources, or performed the tests that allows them to evaluate niche markets.

They can't handle the technical elements, like websites, FTP and so on.

# 1 ? Reason people fail online is : They are on there own.

All in all you need a good source of information to learn from, and a person to turn to when you have questions or run into problems. Starting from scratch at anything new, can be very frustrating. Just like when I decided to become a carpenter, and then when I went from framing to trim work. So the journey continues. There are all kinds of ways to learn. First, have a good teacher, second, just get busy doing. It all sinks in by doing, for me any way. Until next time .
