Email campaign software takes most of the hard work out of the bulk email marketing campaign however, this does not absolve you of some responsibilities of your own like ensuring that your databases are always up to date, that you ensure that your mailing material is always spam content-free, and that you follow the guidelines of the CAN SPAM legislation of the US Government. This is a basic prerequisite and you must follow this whether you are in the United States or if you cater to an American audience. It is also a good set of guidelines to follow as more countries jump on the bandwagon.
