The curriculum of the First Take Acting Program mainly includes the First Take Method, Business, Networking, Psychology, Personal (Growth) Truth in Process, and Relationship Building (Culture). The First Take Method is an eight week session that provides students with a set of unique tools to enable them to dissect the few pages of

material that would usually be given to them in an audition situation. The unique approach has contributed to the consistency, depth, and complexity of students' work and to enable them to bring life to a character in a believable way.

The Business curriculum provides a realistic take on the acting business. Nancy teaches and imparts all of her wisdom in the industry, from the most general to the more specific like formatting resumes. She also provides techniques on marketing tools, how to be seen by casting directors, and more.

The Networking curriculum provides information and coaching to develop and enhance the aspiring actors? networking and marketing skills. The Personal (Growth) Truth in Process curriculum ensures that all actors in training grow not just in talent but in personal maturity as well as they get to know themselves more, reflect and ponder, and be able to bring out the true magic in them that will show in their acting.

The Psychology aspect of the curriculum is where Nancy deals with the emotional aspects of setting out for a career in the film and movie industry.
