Everyone Is Seeing Green In Thanksgiving Costumes

    View:
Thanksgiving is an event that is commonly celebrated in the Western World. Every household has their own way to have fun during this time. Having theme parties is one of the most popular ways of enjoying the season. To spice up the event, organizers tell their guests to wear something in line with the season. Thus, Thanksgiving costumes are seen in these parties. The character most identified with this season is the elf. Therefore, elf costumes are adorned by most people in a Thanksgiving party. These costumes have great designs and are made from carefully selected materials.

Elves costumes are not uncommon to people. We can see elves almost every time in the media. Therefore, designing the said costumes would not be difficult at all. These elves outfit can be created with a few simple features people would never miss. First, they have big pockets. These, as well as big sized buttons, the tight coats will never do without. Apart from that, the attire's bottom part is usually short and wide. the pants are also given baggy effects with a tight fittings at the end. Elves are also hardly ever seen without their long socks so these are also important part of the attire.

Cotton is the best material for Thanksgiving costumes. Not only are they light, they can sustain the normal temperature of the body. As for tailors, cotton will make their job a whole lot easy. This is because cotton is easier to cut and sew. Other materials are also used to make this outfit like satin and silk. Therefore, they is usually no point in add more of these other materials on to the costumes. Synthetic fibers can also be used to replace cotton if the wearer is allergic to cotton. These materials can be bought at fabric stores and are sold by the yard.

Green is the official color of Thanksgiving thus the elf costumes are given this shade. Most of the other costumes also have green for their color. However, there are tailors that do not comply with the color coding thus they utilize other shades in their designs. They sometimes choose yellow for Thanksgiving costumes although there are still traces of green. Red is fine with the season but it is more suited for Valentines Day and for Halloween. White is a safe bet when creating the costumes since it is a very neutral shade and can be used in every event of the year.

There are many things associated with elves. First, we look at patterns. Motives like turkey and four leaf clover are will work best for thanksgiving. We can wear stuffs like bags and shoes with these motives. Elves shoes will also improve your costume appearance. They can be bought at the same store as the main outfit. Belts will make you look even better. Elves' belts are wide and they have been made popular thanks to the media.

The elf costume, like any other costume or outfit must be comfortable to wear. If the tailor has made it too small, then the result would be disastrous. The most important part is the waist area. A chance of the wearer being stuffed at the party is very likely. The costume should also match the body shape of the wearer. It would be embarrassing for him or her to wear something out of shape. Therefore, the design and shape of the costume should flatter the body shape of the wearer as well as giving him or her room for breathing.

Thanksgiving costumes are made for fun and the wearer must be happy while in this outfit. Everyone is expected to have a great time in events where some guests are wearing elf costumes and other similar clothing. Thanksgiving is celebrated with good things in mind thus a festive mood should be felt during the occasion. Costumes are simply worn to spice up the event. It should not be used to make fun of one person but rather worn as an acknowledgment to the organizers. When everyone agrees with the theme, Thanksgiving parties become more enjoyable for all guests.
