The first movie in the series, Taboo, starred Kay Parker as a woman who is alone after her husband leaves her. With no sexual partner around, she seduces her teenaged son. She then goes on to have an affair with another man; all the while her son is cheating on her with another partner. The plot twist, where the mother and son are each cheating on one another with people who are not in their family, brought something unique to the movie. Despite the rather untraditional subject matter, Taboo quickly became one of the biggest selling adult films ever made.



Because of the huge success of the first movie, Taboo 2 was quickly produced and released. It featured Kay Parker, reprising her role as the seductive mother, as well as Eric Edwards, Honey Wilder, Kevin James, Juliet Anderson, Cara Lott, Brooke West, Crystal Dawn, Craig Roberts, Edward Dean, David Cannon, Laura Lazare, Lee Cummings, KC Valentine, Linda Shaw, Rod Diamond, Rochelle Dean, Michelle, Tammy and superstar Ron Jeremy. Its should be noted that although the Taboo 2 plot centered around incestuous sex, none of the actors or actresses were actually related.

Directed by Kirdy Stevens and released by Addictive Entertainment, Taboo 2 sent shockwaves through conservative circles and was even banned in Australia, earning a Refused Classification (RC) rating. Nonetheless, Taboo 2 quickly gained a huge following. People all over the world became huge fans of the movie, including some pretty famous Hollywood stars. Funny man Adam Carolla has publicly stated several times that Taboo 2 is his favorite adult film, which is quite an accomplishment considering that he is a self proclaimed lover of porn.

Quite possibly the most surprising thing about Taboo 2 (as well as Taboo 1 through 6) is that it was written and produced by a woman. Usually, women are the largest opponents of everything related to incestuous sex, but women seem to love Taboo 2, as well as all of the other films in the Taboo series, just as much as their male counterparts seem to.
