What does the warranty on the motorhome cover? Our warranty is administered by Motorhome Care Specialists, Auto Protect and is designed to help with the bills which arise when a mechanical fault requires expert repair. It will pay towards the cost of repair or replacement (parts labour and VAT) should any covered component fail. The motorhome specific warranty covers internal equipment including Cooker, Fridge, Water System, Electrics, Cassette Toilet, Heating System, as well as mechanical breakdown.

You can register your interest online and one of our rental assistants will contact you, or you can phone our office for further information and to check availability. Rental is charged by the week and upon booking you will need to pay a non-refundable deposit of ?200 per week. The full balance will need to be paid 6 weeks before collection. insurance security you will be asked to leave a refundable deposit of ?500 upon collection.A self contained motorhome is designed to meet the ablutionary and sanitary needs of the occupants for a minimum of three days without requiring any external services or discharging any waste. Fresh water for drinking and cooking is stored in tanks. Waste water is collected in waste water tanks and disposed of via a dump station facility, connected to a proper sewerage scheme.

Labor costs for do-it-yourselfers is only cheap if you are confident that you can do the project and meet all safety and quality building codes. Also, you don't want to start a project and then be required to call a contractor to finish it as an emergency project. Odds are, the contractor will charge for removal of your work and starting over. If you think that you cannot do a quality job or haven't sufficient experience, check out your local home improvement stores to see if they have classes on the project you are trying to do yourself. This will give you an idea of whether it is worth it to hire a contractor or to attempt the job yourself.

Overhead

No matter how well you budget for the job, be aware that most people put aside about 15 to 20% in excess of the total budget for cost overruns. It may seem as if your project is on schedule and on budget, but a few minor changes can add money here and there. Prepare for that potential by keeping a little extra money in the budget and you won't feel strapped should the emergency arrive.
