These days, many of us get movie rentals regularly. Typically they wait for the DVD to come out, instead of going to the theater. Here is a short list of some of most heavily rented DVD's in Oct. 2008.

INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL: Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) returns to action, after a long break. This is the fourth movie in the Indiana Jones series. In this movie it's the cold war, and the Russians are the enemy. The Soviets are looking for some South American relics, which are thought to have secret powers.

THE LAZARUS PROJECT: One time crook Ben Garvey is a changed man. With a loving wife and child, and steady work, things are pretty darn good. Then, he is let go from work, and he goes back to his old criminalistic ways. His criminal rebirth is a complete bust, and he will pay with his life. He expects the lethal injection to kill him. Instead, he regains consciousness only to find himself in a psychiatric ward. Now its all on the line, his sanity, and his soul.

LINEWATCH: Michael Dixon is a veteran boarder patrolman in New Mexico, and life seems to be good. But Michael's past are going to threaten his future. He grew up in a brutal L.A. gang, but he had the courage to leave. When a bad twist of fate exposes his whereabouts to his old gang, he and his family are put in grave danger. He is forced risk it all, and ensure that the gang can move illegal drugs into the country.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK: This movie tells the tale of Military scientist Dr. Bruce Banner, who has become the green Hulk. This movie is about the marvel comic hero, the Incredible Hulk. Edward Norton, Tim Roth, William hurt, all have roles in this film. The director is Louis Leterrier. This movie would be classified as a science fiction film.

DECEPTION: Jonathan McQuarry (ewan mcgregor) has a surprise meeting with charismatic corporate lawyer Wyatt Bose. This is a meeting that sends his life in a whole new direction. He is exposed to "The List", which offers a secret world of sexual pleasures. Sadly, he also gets caught up in a world of betrayal, treachery and murder.

JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH: On a quest to find his lost brother, science professor Trevor Anderson travels to Iceland that leads him to the center of the earth. This is a new version of the 1959 film, which was about the brilliant book by highly acclaimed author Jules Verne. Starring Brendan Fraser and Josh Hutchinson.

THE HAPPENING: Elliot Moore (Mark Wahlberb), with his wife and many other frightened people are getting away from the big city. The city has been thrown into chaos. People have been afflicted by an unusual force, and are killing themselves. Can mankind find an answer, or is this the end of humans on Earth?

IRON MAN: Weapons developer, business mogal, Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) is attacked and taken by Afghan insurgents. They try to force him to make missiles for the insurgent group. He was wounded while he was being captured, and has shrapnel stuck in his chest. To survive his injuries, and escape this predicament, he develops a suit of armor, which protects and strengthens him. Iron Man is born.

SPEED RACER: An anime-cartoon gets real actors. Just like the movie The Flinstones, Speed Racer turns a cartoon to a movie with an actual cast. Speed Racer is an ambitious young man who loves racing. His goal is to win The Crucible, a very dangerous race that his older brother had died racing in. With no one expecting him to win, and the future of the family business at risk, he suprisingly teams up with his arch rival Racer X, to attempt to take the title, so the family business won't go under.
