Currently, many of us get movie rentals regularly. Often we all wait to rent the box office hits, rather than going to the movies. Here is a short list of some of most heavily rented DVD's in Oct. 2008.



INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL: The Indiana Jones movies are back, after a 19 year break. This makes four movies in the Indiana Jones movies. In this, the latest adventure, Mr. Jones battles the Soviets. The Soviets are looking for some South American relics, and the secrets they carry.

THE LAZARUS PROJECT: Ex con Ben Garvey is a new man now. With a beauitiful wife and daughter, and steady paycheck, he seems to have found a better life. Then, he unexplicably loses his steady paycheck, and he turns to crime for the solution. This goes terribly wrong, and he is convicted, and sentenced to die. He is sent to die. To his surprise, he isn't dead, but is in a mental hospital. He now struggles for his sanity, and his spritual well being.

LINEWATCH: Mr. Michael Dixon is a well seasoned boarder agent in New Mexico, and life seems to be good. Now, things in his past are about to rear it's ugly head. A long time ago, he was in a viscious L.A. gang, before final breaking away. When an unfortunate meeting shows where he lives to a member of his old gang, he finds himself in a dangerous situation. He has no choice but to take a chance, and work with the gang to move a large drug shipment into the U.S.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK: This movie tells the tale of Military scientist Dr. Bruce Banner, who, because of a gamma ray experiment gone bad, as been changed into the Incredible Hulk. The movie is based on the comic legend, the Hulk. This movie stars Edward Norton, Tim Roth, William hurt, and Liv Tyler. The director is Louis Leterrier. The film style is sci-fi/action-thriller.

DECEPTION: Jonathan McQuarry (ewan mcgregor) has a surprise meeting with hof shof lawyer Wyatt Bose. This is a meeting that will change his life. He is exposed to "The List", where people find a steamy sexual pleasures. Sadly, he also finds himself in a world of betrayal, treachery and murder.

JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH: Trying to find his brother, science professor Trevor Anderson explores caves in Iceland that leads him to the center of the earth. This is another version of the 1959 production, which was about the science fiction book by celbrated writer Jules Verne. Directed by eric brevig, and starring Brendan Fraser.

THE HAPPENING: Elliot Moore (Mark Wahlberb), along with his wife and some friends are leaving Philadelphia by train. Their city has been thrown into chaos. Many people are being overcome by some strange illness, and are commiting suicide. Can we solve this dilemma, or is this the end of the human race?

IRON MAN: Weapons developer, business mogal, Tony Stark is captured by insurgent fighters in Afghanastan. They try to force him to build weapons for the insurgent group. He was hurt while he was being captured, and he has shrapnel lodged in his chest. To survive his injuries, and escape his captors, he creates a suit made of armor, which makes him virtually invincible. We have a new comic book super hero on the scene.

SPEED RACER: An anime-cartoon is now a movie hit. As you saw with the movie The Flinstones, Speed Racer turns a cartoon into a movie with real actors. Speed Racer who loves racing. His goal is to win The Crucible, a huge racing event that had taken the life of his older brother. With no one expecting him to win, and the family business on the line, Speed Racer partners up with his old rival Racer X, in an effort to capture the championship, and keep his families racing business alive.
