But your friends and family think you are wasting your time, energy, and money and do not support your efforts. This discourages many people from starting or continuing with an internet business. By telling everyone you know about your business, you are referring those people to your business, and you may get a few sales. Then everyone you know might tell everyone they know, and so on. The more people who know about it, the more potential sales you could have, and even just a few sales can offset your membership and advertising costs. If you are affiliate selling, and have referred new affiliates who now have memberships, your earnings can become a source of residual or leveraged income for as long as they stay members, and the bigger your team of affiliates, the more you will make.

Another good place to network is in discussion forums where you can find supportive new friends or business partners who have the same goals and dreams as you. You can place the link to your website or sales page in the signature at the bottom of your posts. When you post something of value - helping others, or providing useful information - then people will start to trust you as a good source. They might just click on your signature link, and this could lead to a sale.

The power of networking should not be underestimated. Not only can it skyrocket your earnings, but it can help build new friendships and business partners for life!

Most of us have to cautiously plan and budget our family vacations. When planning for the trip we should avoid the budget busters and the temptation to pull out our credit cards.

Now the primary aspect of any trip is the transportation. Inflexibility can spoil our budget. At times the air travel is available at a less desirable time or maybe a day or two before or after one has actually planned. This can save hundreds of dollars. We should also keep in mind the options of traveling by car, bus, or train when feasible. Picking accommodations that are centrally located can present a big savings on local transportation. If one takes his own car, check with the hotel that doesn't t charge a daily parking rate. If one needs a rental car, renting only for the time period when one actually needs the car can give a person huge savings.

The next big budget buster for travelers is meals. One can save a lot of money by not eating out on the vacation. Of course one may love to try out new restaurants and taste the local foods. But this can also be done in moderation. If one is lucky, one can find a hotel that offers breakfast each morning. Otherwise, one can make his own breakfast in the room. One can also have lunch packed in your backpack and find a place for a little picnic during the day. Many vacation accommodations have microwaves and refrigerators in the room and some even offer kitchenettes or full kitchens. Before one travels one should request for a map and find a grocery store near the room.

Accommodations are next on the list of family vacation budget busters. One way to minimize the cost is to travel with another family and split the cost of the accommodations. Also, one should keep in mind that budget hotels offer clean space to sleep and meet your needs for a roof over your head. So one should go online and check out reviews for the property. Another option is to consider camping. One can tent camp, or can even rent campers at your destination. You should try it at least once. Family really loves this option.

Finally when it comes to tours and activities, ask lots of questions and you will find the cheapest option. I fully believe that when you don t educated yourself prior to a trip, you are throwing money right out of your pocket. I ll give you a personal example to prove my point. My husband and I went on a cruise and while on the ship we booked a half day tour for the island we were stopping at the next day. We paid $75 each for this tour and about 10 other people from the ship were on the tour with us. After the tour we were walking back to the ship and we found that we could have taken an island tour by horse drawn carriage for $10 dollars each. A huge savings! We learned our lesson.
