Performance fuel regulators are gadgets that are placed between the tank and just before the injectors. The FMU is an adjustable or variable fuel pressure regulator that automatically gives a boost to your system. What it does it that it restricts the flow of fuel that goes back to the tank. When flow is restricted, pressure builds up. This increase in pressure will deliver more fuel with the same amount of time it takes for an ordinary fuel regulator.
