Are you tired of reality shows? To be honest, I totally am. I have to say, I do not particularly care who likes Brad and if Tiffany and Jonathan broke up. I do not need to know what obviously scripted thing so and so says in her car to her friend, as recorded by the in-dash video camera. I find it amusing that someone can pick his or her spouse on national television within the span of a season by taking several people out on a few dates. It is not important to me to see who is willing to eat live spiders or who needs to take a lifeline to know what the capital of Uzbekistan is. However, there is one reality show that is actually intriguing to watch. It is called "Front Sight Challenge," hosted by Dr. Ignatius Piazza, and I must say I am impressed. And for me to say that about a reality show is big. Like, really big.
"Front Sight Challenge" is a firearms contest where men and women with Front Sight compete to be the best shooter around. They compete against law enforcement officers and military personnel. They sometimes even get the chance to compete against snipers. Can you say you are a better shooter than a sniper? Wouldn't it be great to see someone who is? Well, this is a show where you can see shooters from all over the country devastate the competition, and it is everything but scripted.
Front Sight Firearms Training Institute is a phenomenal place to get gun training. Actually, it is superior to other firearms training institutes, ranking among the best of the best in the world. Dr. Ignatius Piazza founded it in April of 1996 and now directs Front Sight that at least doubles in size every year and is on track to do it again. Recently, he began the friendly competition among his best students, called the "Front Sight Challenge."
In episode three of "Front Sight Challenge," Chris, Paul, Dave and Keith duke it out with fully automatic submachine guns. Chris is a sheriff who first used firearms at the age of fifteen. Paul is an elevator constructor, a snowboarder and mountain biker. Dave is a police officer who has been in the military for seven years. And Keith is an attorney who works in real estate law, commercial transactions and finance. He first used firearm while shooting tin cans with his family. The first challenge presented by Front Sight Challenge is this. At the sound of an alarm, they must deliver three rounds at a target on full automatic. If they deliver two or four rounds, points are deducted. Do you know how difficult that is to do with a fully automatic submachine gun? Yet these four men laugh in the face of challenge... as well as laugh at each other with smart aleck comments and jabs. It is so fun to watch the competition and hilarious to watch the contestants interact with each other.
What is great is if you sign up now, you can see twenty episodes of Front Sight Challenge, hosted by Dr. Ignatius Piazza for free. One will be delivered to you via email once a week for twenty weeks, so you can eagerly watch along with me as one combatant each week pulls him or herself up to the top and is declared the champion of Front Sight Challenge..

Dr. Ignatius Piazza, founder and director of Front Sight bases his program on safety first and last, while allowing room for exceptional gun education and piles of fun. The gun training school is the unsurpassed leader among firearms training institutes, and for good reason. The curriculum is well rounded - through informative lectures and hands on tactical training scenarios, Front Sight firearms instructors leave their students with skills that exceed ninety nine percent of the gun owning population. The incredibly trained and experienced instructors are among the best in the world - the training required to become a professional Front Sight Instructor is outrageously demanding because firearms training is not something to be taken lightly. In addition, Dr. Piazza is not just some guy who started a gun training academy. He is the second man in the world to earn a Four Weapons Combat Master certificate - so students of Front Sight are learning from the best.
In addition to all of the strong points of Front Sight, the next plus is the vast array of courses offered. Dr. Piazza knows that not everyone wants to learn the same thing. This is why he created his program in a way that involves numerous types of guns and other weapons. Guns, knives or fists - whatever your weapon of choice is, there is a course for you! You like guns? Take a handgun training course, rifle training, shotgun training, automatic weapons training or night gun training. Would you rather use a knife? He has even got a concealed weapons permit course. I am telling you - Front Sight has got it all - even a crazy gun shooting competition.
It is called Front Sight Challenge and Dr. Piazza hosts it. It is not scripted, choreographed or preplanned - it is one hundred percent raw and overflowing with exhilaration. Each episode allows two Front Sight students to challenge two gun using professionals in a legendary elimination battle to be named Top Gun. The end of the episode leaves one man (or woman) standing - and that person gets the chance to compete in the All Star Challenge! Talk about bare bones excitement... Front Sight Challenge is freaking awesome. Episode eighteen uses the mother of all that is good - the fully automatic submachine gun. Four men (a real estate agent who says law enforcement can't provide immediate protection, a police detective who investigates burglaries, a pistol packing sales manager from Texas and a police officer who used to be in the Navy) duke it out in blazing rounds that will keep you on your toes. The best part of the series? You can see twenty crazy episodes of it for free! Yep, Dr. Piazza is giving away twenty free episodes of Front Sight Challenge - and all you have to do is sign up!
