When most people are trying to find ways to get rid of acne, they are trying everything from lotions to potions to soaps and even doctor prescribed medications. But people seldom stop and think about what NOT to do that might help to get rid of their acne.

There are several common behaviors that we all engage in that can make acne much worse, and since stopping these behaviors is not only easy and free, it is also an all natural way to get rid of acne!

The first tip may seem like a no-brainer but its often one that we forget over and over again. Simply touching your face for any reason other than cleaning and applying lotion is a big no no. Stay away from chemical laden creams unless you’ve been told by a doctor to take them. They may provide temporary relief from pimples, but they often dry your skin out to the point where pimples come back after a short time or, in some cases where people have extremely sensitive skin, too many of these creams can actually damage skin. Stick to all natural treatments like a proper diet, vitamins and things like tea tree oil and aloe.

Finally, patience is an absolutely vital ingredient in getting rid of your acne. Even the best, all natural cures take time to work. Medical science still, in this day and age, has no idea what causes acne outbreaks in some people, so don’t get discouraged if your treatment doesn’t work right away. You know your body better than anyone else, trial and error with all natural acne treatments is sometimes the best course of action.
