A gluten intolerance forces us to know what is in our food. This is a good thing to know because most people do not have a clue about what is in the food they are eating.
It is often easier just to eat the foods as they are and with nothing added such as avocado and lettuce.
**A Simple Workable Plan**
The gluten free diet may actually force us to eat better food, less processed food and fresher food.
It is just that our taste buds have developed some bad habits from what is available from our supermarkets but our bodies are protesting about.
A very simple rule of thumb could be as follows. Make sure what we eat 2/3 plant and the other 1/3 not plant.
By plant I mean anything which has come directly from a plant and has not been processed by humans in any way other than to be picked, peeled or cut.
It does not include something that comes from any sort of packaging including tins as these usually have things added not the least of which is sugar.
Give it a try. It is probably one of the simplest and most workable eating plans I have ever tried.
