You know, when you think you might have water accumulating underneath your home in the crawlspace, it might be a toss up as to who is going to be brave enough to go under there and check it out. This is a task that not many people, no matter what gender you are, really want to have to do. It cramped, creepy, low to the ground, and quite often riddled with spiders, webs, and possibly even a rat or a snake. Who would want to crawl around under there?

When the water is allowed to stay under the home for long periods of time, it can also cause the wooden joist to become moist and when humidity is added, it can also cause mold and mildew. If you check with your insurance company that furnishes your home owner policy, you will probably find that you are covered for the inspection and any work that might be needed to remedy the problem.
