The spectacular drive northward from course 1 to course 8 (known as the great 8) takes you a long way and the sights, tees and greens of this beautiful region offer plenty of opportunities. Driving time between the starter course at Furry Creek, designed by one of the world's leading golf course architects, and the finishing hole at Pemberton takes 90 minutes by car. Along the way you will pass beautifully scenic surroundings, snow capped mountains and lush, green surroundings.

What makes golfing in Whistler so excellent is the combination of award winning courses which offer unique views at each hole, meandering drives through pristine woodlands, lakes, rivers and rolling hills.

The array of courses means there is something on offer to keep the most ardent golf fans happy and courses to test all levels of ability. Courses like the Nicklaus North Golf & Country Club became famous by hosting the Export a Skins game, as well as winning best Canadian course in the late 1990's. Its practice facility, spacious clubhouse and shop and Jacks Grill and Patio have made this course a favorite amongst locals and visitors.

The courses 5 sets of tees offer awesome views from any angle and all holes except for 3 contain water features making the course a challenging one. Others famous course designers include Arnold Palmer's 'The Whistler Golf Club', a challenging course as one would expect, and featuring 9 lakes and 2 creeks. After a days golfing, players can relax in the 50 seat bar and grill over looking the 18th hole.
