Google Adwords has been around for a while now and when they first started out The people that got onto the bandwagon were in for the ride of their lives. There are a handful of people who claim to have get started from the word go and Man did they make a killing. For there was no competition at all and so they had free Range at every product available and had no limits to their keyword selection.
Well let me explain quickly what Google Adwords is all about. Well say you are searching and want to buy anti-virus software for your computer well you would probably type in "buy anti-virus" and what Google does is this it puts up adverts relating to what you typed. So for an advertiser you can really focus your advertising and only send specific visitors to your website and so increase conversions on your opt-in page or your sales page or so forth.
Imagine what you could do with such a tool you could target customers anywhere in the world and make sure you only get customers from you hometown seeing your advert. Google has really revolutionized advertising and taken it to the next level and given everyone a milestone to work towards.
Well Google's motto has always been to make their viewers get exactly the content they are looking for, so that's good news for advertisers. There are so many get rich quick schemes out there and well Google Adwords isn't one of them. Don't get me wrong here you can get very rich with Adwords and I make a pretty penny from it every month but it takes a lot of hard work and effort to get there.
Using Google for advertising can be a bit tricky but with the right guidance and persistence anyone old or young can make it a success for the principles are simple and as long as you follow the rules then you're safe and won't lose much money.
There are a multitude of products out there promoting Google Adwords techniques and well a lot of them are duds as usual so you need to do your research thoroughly before you go out and buy anything make sure to at least read one review of the products available and compare them together to find what others are saying.
Whilst Google Adwords has many people using it and many say it swamped and too overcrowded but it only takes some time to get it going and before you know it you'll reap the benefits as long as you follow the guidelines setup for you from your guide or E-book you've bought, for most beginners stray and think they know it all and then fail and give up, when all the needed to do was stay on track and follow the instructions step by step.
So go out and make some money it'll probably be the easiest money you'll ever make.

Always use your keywords as often as you can in your Ad: in the title, in the body and even in your domain name.
These words will be highlighted for the web surfer that is viewing their search results, so why not make it easy for them to choose your ad?

Don't create an Ad Group and throw all your hundreds of keywords in, unless they all show up within your ad text.
Instead take a little more time and create one Ad Group for each keyword or phrase.

Even though there are thousands of people looking to "work from home" your business or opportunity may not include "data entry" positions right? And those "home work" searchers may not be business opportunity seekers at all.
So, use the negative keywords tool (which will exlcude searches with those keywords) religiously.
If you don't exclude these searchers from your ad impressions your click-through rate (CTR) will suffer, which will affect your ad's placement and costs.
Also, a very low CTR will slow down the number of times your ad is displayed, until eventually it is disabled until you increase your bid.
So to review:

1. Using your keywords all over your ad.
2. Creating a separate ad group for each keyword (don't lump tons of them together)
3. Use the negative keywords to qualify the searchers you are targeting.
