Now, when I very first heard of this method, I thought that it must be a scam, it's impossible for there to be a loop hole in the Google system that allows you to get your adwords ads for Free. In fact , once that I read all about this method and studied the ass out of it, I was even more convinced that it was a scam. OK, the concept was ok, but the approach was crap.

So why am I righting this article, if it's one big scam?

Well, first let me tell you about the method that has been thrown around the internet for some time now. Basically, there is only one way to get your Free Adwords Ads and it's not rocket science. In fact, if your any good at marketing, you should be doing this constantly. If your not then you must be losing money. Incase you have not guest it yet, the method is offsetting. Thats right, All you have to do is offset the price and hay presto, you have Free Adwords Ads. Well, not exactly free.

Lets look a bit more in depth;

OK, here we go. Lets start by taking a look at the very old method, then the not so old method, then my new and improved method. Please bear in mind, there is only on way to get Free Adwords Ads, and that is to offset. So if you see any products out there telling you other wise, then it's a scam, or the product will just tell you what I'm about to tell you for free.

The very old method:

Arbitrage - to may of you reading will know exactly what Arbitrage is all about, and have probably at some point tried it out, only to find it BS. In a nut shell Arbitrage was the name given to the process of sending your adwords ad to a landing page covered in Adsense. Basically, if your adwords ad click cost you 0.10p, but the adsense ads on your landing page were worth 0.80p, then there is a good chance you can get the adsense commission to pay for your adwords ads & leave you with a profit. So as you can see, this once was a great way of making easy cash. One of the main reasons it's not so good now, is simply Google's quality score. Google don't want you to send any of your click traffic to a page covered in adsense, you must have high quality content and no adsense ads on the landing page. Which as you can imagine, puts a stop to this method. However, this method can sometime still work, but you must use miva PPC instead of Adwords, as Miva cost less per click than adwords does and you don't have to worry about the quality score. You simply send Miva traffic to a website using adsense ads, and a way you go.

The old method:

OK, so this is the methods that cause a bit on controversy when it was released. A lot of marketers branded it a scam and refused to promote it. But, there was method behind the madness. Basically, instead of using adsense to offset the price, you would use banner advertising to offset the price. In theory, this works. But the only problem is, is that you have to have your website pages covered in ads. You have to find advertisers and google also hates banners on the landing pages. But that being said, is this a good method? well, yes. surprisingly it works, if your willing to put the time and the effort in, you can get the results that you are looking for. The trick is to fill your website with extremely high quality content, and have the banners as a secondary feature. You also need to find companies that are willing to pay for advertising space on your website. And last but no least, always make sure you know your figure. You need to know that the total monthly charge for 10 ads is going to cover your monthly adwords bill.

The new and improved method:

I don't think many marketers are using this method, in fact i've not come across any myself. But that doesn't mean to say that they are not out there doing it. This method is by far the best way of getting your Adwords Free ads. But not only will you get your adwords free ads, but you will also build a huge list of buyer whilst doing it.

Heres the draw back, this method only works for those who are building a list. Basically, if your sending traffic to a opt-in (name squeeze) page, then this is gold. If however your sending the users to sales page, then you might as well try one of the other methods.

OK, lets get started.

First we need to take a quick look at Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) offers. CPA offer are basically a way for companies to build a list of customers that they can market to. These companies will offer you cash per lead, this is huge and can make you a lot of money. All that you have to do is get people that have a related interest in the CPA offer to fill out the form. Depending on the size of the form, will depend on the amount you get payed per lead. I've had forms that pay me ?25 per lead, I also know of other marketers getting as much as ?50 per lead (Depends on industry).

So, How do we get them to fill out the form?

Simple, On the welcome page of your website (After they have signed up), you need to place a CPA offer that the user will need to fill in before they can get access to your product. Here's the trick, make sure that the CPA offer is hugely relevant to the product that your offering them, try and find an offer that would be worth while them filling in.

Once they have filled in the form, you get paid.

Lets do some maths:

Lets say it cost you 0.25p per click, and you get a 25% signup conversion rate.

This means that for every hundred clicks, you get 25 signups costing - ?6.25

Thats ?6.25 per lead!

Now, if 20% of the 25 users that signed up to your original offer, then go on to filling out the CPA offer (a modest percentage), which is worth ?5 per lead. You are left with:

25 % 5 = 5 signups

5 X ?5 = ?25

You spent ?6.25, so your profit is:

?25 - ?6.25 = ?18.75

Yes, thats right - ?18.75 profit!!! Woo Hooo - Happy days

So, not only do you get your Free Google Adwords Ads, but you also make a nice commission on top. But thats not all. You are also build a huge list of your own customers.

For every 25 leads that you get, they get 5. Let me put it this way, you earn ?18.75 for getting 25 new leads. It's amazing, and the best bit is - IT WORKS!

Seriously, I should be charging for this information, so make sure you make the most of it.

Ok, On wards and up wards:

So, how to increase your CTR. This for some reason confuses the best of us, for some reason we find it hard to get our ads to get an impressive CTR. Why is it so hard? Think about it, all that you have is 4 short lines of text. Thats it, it's not as if we have to create killer copy for a sales page. But, as we know, those 4 lines of text can be responsible for our entire profits online.

But how can I write a better ad?

Simple, but first let me tell you what you shouldn't do. You shouldn't guess. Guessing will lead to failure. 9 time out of ten 10, your opinion is just that, your opinion. You need to know if your ad is working, and if the changes that you are making to your ad are increasing your CTR or decreasing your CTR. Through out these free Adwords tips, I'm going t show you exactly how that is done.

Free Adwords Tip 1:

This is a must. You must learn how to do split testing. You would not believe the amount of marketers that know all about it, but never act on it. For those of you that don't know, let me give you a quick over view.

Split testing is basically a way for you to test multiple variations of the same ad. Google Adwords has a special feature that allows you to run a split test for your ads at no extra charge. Once activate, Adwords will run your ads in alternating patterns. E.G - Ad A then ad B then ad A then ad B, A then B then A then B. You get the picture. What this does it allows you to test different elements of you ad at the same time, So you could be running two ads exactly the same but with different headlines. You then see which headline is getting the highest CTR. Simple as that, this technique allows you to test two ads against each other, the delete the under performing ad, and replace it with a new ad. This new ad is then in competition with the last winning ad (The control). If the new ad wins, then this ad now becomes the control, and the previous control is then deleted. You keep on performing this pattern until you can increase the CTR any more.

Setting up split testing:

Like I said, this is a free adwords feature, and it's easy and fast to get started.

1 - Go to ?Campaign Settings?

2 - select ?rotate ads evenly?

Done!

Now lets write the second ad.

1 - go to your existing ad text.

2 - select ?text ad?

3 - write a new ad.

Thats it, it's free, easy and fast. So go and get setup now.

Free Adwords Tips 2:

What to split test. OK, this is the question on every ones lips. What do I need to split test to get a higher CTR? Below is a list of different elements that are worth you time split testing.

1 - Keyword in the Headline

2 - Benefit in the Headline

3 - reverse copy - body 1 and 2

4 - include benefits in body 1

5 - include specs in body 2

6 - include call to action line in body 2

7 - try different capitalization on different words

8 - Add keywords through out the body copy.

Ok, try these different variation and see for your self what works best.

Free Adwords Tip 3:

Killer URL. Did you know that just by using a URL the includes your keyword phrase, it can dramatically increase your CTR? This is a great technique, and one that i use again and again, Simple by a new domain name, and use it as a alias of the original domain name.

Tip - Don't buy different domain names until you know that your keywords are profitable, (or at least bringing in lots of traffic).

Free Adwords Tip 4: The final tip

It may come as a surprise to you, but people do not read the ad copy. They skim through the Adwords and click on the first one that catches their attention. Studies have shown, that including spaces, numbers, -, & and % symbols, that it can greatly increase your CTR. So a good free adwords tip is to use 100% and ?12.99 with in your ad.
