You've spent a lot of time working on your website, and now that you're finished, you want it up and running as fast as possible. You want to make money with website marketing. You want the Google spider to visit your site so that you can get indexed.



Google has a submission form at www.google.com/addurl. You just go there, put your URL in, and hit the submit button. What could be easier and more convenient?

It's convenient and easy, but you can forget about getting you website indexed fast. If you submit your site to Google using this convenient little tool, you can count on having to wait a month, six weeks, eight weeks until your site gets indexed. Maybe longer. I can't say for sure, because I haven't gone this route. But I've heard my internet marketing friends say that when they used Google's submission form, they had to wait a long, long time before being indexed. Who wants that? Not you. You want to make money with website marketing as fast as you can, and you don't have time to waste.

Think about this. Doesn't it make sense that if you submit to Google, you'd have to wait a long time? There must be thousands, hundreds of thousands, of people who are using Goolge's little tool to submit their sites. So you'll have to take your place in line.

You probably don't relish the thought of waiting around for a month waiting for the big G to finally mosey on over to your site. Maybe you have better things to do. Like maybe you want to start to make money with website marketing, selling your products, or affiliate products, or capitalizing on the content you've monitized. So here's what you can do to get indexed relatively quickly.

One-way links: Goggle likes them alot. They especially like one-way links from the so-called authority sites. The deal is, if you want that Google spider to crawl your site fast, you've got to get another site to link to your site. I know what you're thinking: My site is unranked, new ... why would an authority site want to link to it? Well, relax. Here's how you can do it.

You've probably heard of Folk'd, MyLinkVault, Furl. They're social networking sites where people go to hang out and interact, post their favorite URLs to share them with others, comment and vote on what they like. Posting your favorite URL at one of these sites is called "bookmarking."

You can post your own website's URL at one of these sites. You have to join or register first, but that's pretty easy. Sign up and then follow the instructions on how to "bookmark" a site. Then hit the submit button. Your site will be indexed in a matter of days, or even hours. This is what I do to get my own sites indexed fast.

Google loves these social networking sites because the content is fresh and changes constantly. Day and night, the users are constantly adding sites and bookmarking. So the content-loving Google spider visits these sites super-frequently. If you've bookmarked your own URL, the spider crawls back to your site. Bingo, you're indexed. Guess what? Now you can start to market money with website marketing.

You can post your URL to any of the sites listed below. I've included the rating for each site. The list is by no means all inclusive. You can find tons of other social networking sites to submit your URL to -- just make sure they're not "nofollow" sites.
