I've never been a big fan of Gucci handbags, but one thing that can be said about Gucci is they know how to carve out a niche for themselves in the fashion world. Their products are always refreshingly different than other luxury brand competitors, because their designers always bring that original flair for "Gucci-ness" to their innovative designs. From their equestrian styled "horse-bit" themed handbags, scarves and watches to their signature red and green striped accents, Gucci presents a highly recognizable brand image that transcends the obvious, and rarely gets lost in a crowd. This is because it comes in a much broader variety of styles, colors and materials, appealing to more age groups and price ranges. But it's also because these watches are a lot of fun to wear.

Available in an assortment of materials, including classic fabrics, colorful leathers, black rubber and stainless steel with diamonds, there is a Gucci Twirl watch for every possible occasion. Twirl's best sellers are still their most luxurious pieces, like the small version with a diamond and stainless steel case featuring 34 diamonds and mother of pearl dial. But my personal favorite is the less glitzy, sportier version with the light pink embossed GG rubber bracelet and matching pink mother-of-pearl dial.

Not surprisingly, many die-hard Gucci fans prefer the larger version of this watch, with its stainless steel case and the signature green/red/green acetate fabric bracelet. This is probably because the Gucci color scheme is so well-entrenched in high fashion circles and is instantly recognizable almost anywhere.

Gucci Twirl watches can also be found on the wrists of many younger customers, especially the more modern twists on this style. More affordable than its bejeweled counterparts, the sleek black rubber Twirl watch is more appropriately worn with jeans and a t-shirt, but it still maintains that Gucci cache.
