The hair loss industry is not one that inspires great confidence in most people. I have to admit this is perfectly understandable given the damage caused by the many rogues and charlatans who have abused the trust of far too many vulnerable people - people who have received worthless and even dangerous products or advice in exchange for their hard earned cash. The end result is the prevalance of a stigma that the industry is hard pressed to shake off.
Hair is composed of long, twisted keratin fibers that are protected by a coating of keratinized cells. Just below the surface of the skin lies a cluster of active cells known as the dermal papilla and it is from here that the hair grows into its follicle.
A basic cause of hair loss is sebum buildup in the follicles which attacks the hair bulb, the rounded area at the end of a hair strand which is rooted in the follicle. Sebum causes the hair bulb to shrink so the hair is not as well rooted. After the hair falls out the new hair strand growing in that follicle is weaker and thinner and the process is repeated until the hair follicle is so damaged it dies. (Sebum is a fatty substance secreted from the sebaceous glands most of which open into hair follicles.)
DHT is a combination of testosterone and androgen receptors mixed with sebum and dirt particles. DHT has a disastrous effect on the hair follicle so it begins to shut down and the hair eventually falls out. (Sebum is a fatty substance secreted from the sebaceous glands most of which open into hair follicles.)
Androgenetic alopecia is the most common cause of hair loss, probably accounting for as much as 95% of pattern hair loss for both men and women. It is usually associated with aging and develops in predictable stages over varying periods of time. Each follicle follows a genetically programmed growth cycle with some follicles coded to remain active for a shorter time than others. This results in the development of the hereditary baldness patterns that are so familiar to us all.
Tricomin is another treatment that targets the delivery of copper to the base of the hair follicle and it too has been clinically proven as an effective treatment for stopping hair loss and stimulating regrowth. It can be used safely with other hair loss treatments and can be especially useful in complementing the effects of finasteride and minoxidil.
Green tea (Camellia sinesis) - it is thought that catechins found in green tea may inhibit the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase that converts testosterone into hair-unfriendly DHT. It is therefore believed to be effective in preventing and treating male pattern type baldness. You should drink several cups of green tea each day or take it in capsule form as instructed by the manufacturer.
Hair Loss Shampoo Review
Procerin stops hair loss by using a special formula to block the production of DHT (Dihydrotestosterone). DHT is a primary contributing factor in most cases of male baldness. While DHT actually contributes to facial hair growth, an excess of DHT will clog the hair follicles on your scalp, and prevent their growth, leading to thinning of hair and eventual baldness.
Procerin uses special ingredients, a mix of natural herbs, vitamins and minerals known to stop production of DHT. Procerin's primary ingredients, such as saw palmetto, Gotu Kola and Nettles are tested and proven DHT blockers. Procerin's focuses on blocking DHT, without affecting testosterone or other body mechanisms. Thus, this part of the Procerin solution will stop any further hair follicle damage.
The other part of the Procerin hair loss treatment is related to hair growth. After having stopped DHT, thereby stopping further hair loss or thinning, the Procerin hair growth formula takes over to nurture the scalp, clear already clogged hair follicles.
Potential Side Effects
The most important issue with Procerin is not what it does, but what it does not do. A lot of prescription drugs for hair loss do not differentiate between DHT and testosterone, causing sexual side effects. Procerin is a natural product which has no sexual side effects and it does not react to testosterone.
Some men have reported stomach problems in the first few days after starting a Procerin treatment. This is likely due to the saw palmetto, an important DHT blocker and part of the Procerin solution, which may cause some people constipation, vomiting or mild dizziness until the body gets used to it. This does not apply to everyone, and even if you do experience these side effects, it is easily solved by taking Procerin along with your food.
Procerin Usage
A Procerin treatment course needs to be taken for at least two or three months, to give the hair enough time to grow. An important question is whether there will be a relapse of hair thinning and loss after you stop taking Procerin. Studies have shown that this is not always the case, but it does happen. A relapse is possible, since Procerin is a natural treatment, which balances the required level of chemicals and hormones in your body. Without Procerin to block the excess production of DHT, over a period of time your hair may start thinning out again. You can also combine Procerin with other hair loss treatment products, provided you understand what each product does.
