Or you secretly know that you’re doomed for failure.We all enter into business with a certain amount of fears; whether logical, completely unrealistic, or somehow ingrained in us by our surroundings. The most important step, however, in building a solid foundation for your small business, is moving away from fear.Fear is the enemy of the successful businessperson. Here are a couple of quick ways to challenge your business sense into becoming success-minded.

Take the cell phone challenge.Look at your cell phone right now. I mean it -- scroll down. Pay attention to through all names of the people that are taking your energy. The ex-boyfriend, the bar buddies, your ex-coworkers.You know who I’m talking about, the ones that tell you you’re crazy, the ones that worry aloud about your income when you tell them you’re starting your own business or going out on a limb for your next marketing venture. Delete them now. You'll be opening up a spot in your cell phone, and your life, for more positive, productive people.

Stop your negative mind chatter. That’s right – the voices in your head that echo the sentiments of those people you just deleted. You can’t concentrate on fear or you’ll never be able to take the steps involved in operating a truly successful, multimillion dollar business. Recognize that your fears are not entirely rational, but often, simply engrained in you. When you think to yourself, “No, I can’t do this. It’s just too expensive and risky…" Realize that most of the time, if there is a will, there is a way. You can do it – and it’s really time to think of “How?" Change the way you think about your business challenges - and make those voices talk about something else – what you are ready and willing to do, and how you can meet challenges.

Recognize that it’s your right and responsibility to achieve success. You know you have a great idea, a great product, and a great business. It’s your job, and responsibility, to tell the world about it. You can change a lot of lives through marketing; think about the good that your business can do. Think of the quality of the relationships that can improve in your life when your business is successful.
