Hand Of The Dead Body

    View:
In number 13:1-12, the Lord put the Laws for Purification

Bring a red heifer without defect

It shall be taken outside the camp and slaughtered before the priest

The priest shall take some of its blood with his finger, and sprinkle it seven times

The heifer shall be burned in his sight Its skin, its flesh, and its blood, with its dung, shall be burned

Then the Lord puts the law of anyone who touches the dead body and to how would the priest purify him

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Numbers 19:1-12

Laws for Purification

1Now the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying, 2"This is the statute of the law that the LORD has commanded: Tell the people of Israel to bring you a red heifer without defect, in which there is no blemish and on which a yoke has never come. 3And you shall give it to Eleazar the priest, andit shall be taken outside the camp and slaughtered before him. 4And Eleazar the priest shall take some of its blood with his finger, and sprinkle some of its blood toward the front of the tent of meeting seven times. 5And the heifer shall be burned in his sight Its skin, its flesh, and its blood, with its dung, shall be burned. 6And the priest shall take cedar wood and hyssop and scarlet yarn, and throw them into the fire burning the heifer. 7Then the priest shall wash his clothes and bathe his body in water, and afterward he may come into the camp. But the priest shall be unclean until evening. 8The one who burns the heifer shall wash his clothes in water and bathe his body in water and shall be unclean until evening. 9And a man who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer and deposit them outside the camp in a clean place. And they shall be kept for the water for impurity for the congregation of the people of Israel; it is a sin offering. 10And the one who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening. And this shall be a perpetual statute for the people of Israel, and for the stranger who sojourns among them. 11 "Whoever touches the dead body of any person shall be unclean seven days. 12He shall cleanse himself with the water on the third day and on the seventh day, and so be clean. But if he does not cleanse himself on the third day and on the seventh day, he will not become clean.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

But what if anyone touches the dead body of anyone and fails to purify himself.

The Law put in numbers 19:13 states that the LORD Commands to kill anyone who touches the dead body of anyone and Fails to purify himself!

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Numbers 19:13 in different versions of the Bible

King James Version (KJV)

13Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.

New International Version (NIV)

13 Whoever touches the dead body of anyone and fails to purify himself defiles the LORD's tabernacle. That person must be cut off from Israel. Because the water of cleansing has not been sprinkled on him, he is unclean; his uncleanness remains on him.

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

13'Anyone who touches a corpse, the body of a man who has died, and does not purify himself, defiles the tabernacle of the LORD; and that person shall be cut off from Israel Because the water for impurity was not sprinkled on him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is still on him.

English Standard Version (ESV)

13Whoever touches a dead person, the body of anyone who has died, and does not cleanse himself,(A) defiles the tabernacle of the LORD,(B) and that person shall be cut off from Israel; because the water for impurity was not thrown on him, he shall be unclean. His uncleanness is still on him.

Darby Translation (DARBY)

13Whoever toucheth a dead person, the dead body of a man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of Jehovah; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel; for the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him: he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.

The Laws for Purification in the Noble Quran

There is nothing in the Quran saying:

Kill anyone who touches a dead body and fails to purify himself

----------------------------------------------------------------------

What if the Quran was the Book which commands to kill 1) the Uncircumcised, 2) the curser of his parents, 3) the gay, 4) the Zoosexual 5) the worker in the Sabbath! 6) Whosoever tries to turn you away from the LORD and 7) all who live in that town, 8) the prophet, 9) all the Midianites, men, women and boys, 10) the Ox and the Owner and 11) the adulterer and the adulteress and 12) who eats leavened bread, 13) who eats the meat of the sacrifice of peace, 14) who eats blood, 15) who approaches the holy gifts 16) who does not eat the Passover and/or anyone who touches a dead body!

What the Western Media would have said? What names they have given the Quran in such case?
