There is no denying that the economy is not making people very happy right now. Banks are collapsing all around us and even governments are having there share of financial woes. Right now unemployment is higher than it has been in many years.



People are tightening their belts a bit in theses uncertain times. We just got back from a camping trip we take every year at thankgiving at a place called Dumont Dunes. Usually we see about 250,000 people there but this year we saw about half that for the holiday.

In a time where people are being laid off instead of being hired I did expect this. The time we are in is starting to bring a new breed of people looking for a way to supplement their income or replace it altogether. Right now there are literally millions of people looking into the possibility of starting a home business.

With all these people looking it is bringing incredible opportunity for everyone. People that never in there wildest dreams would have ever considered doing something like this before now. About a year ago I was in the same place.

My trucking company of over fourteen years was collapsing due to the economy and the lack of construction. I was forced to leave a business that I loved and was successful at. But I had heard of people that I new that was supplementing their incomes with a business that they had started from their homes.

And originally when they had told me about it not only was I shocked but I pretty much gave them the business about it. I told them that it wasn't a very good idea and that they were wasting their time. How DUMB was I!
