Asperger's syndrome is a developmental disorder that is within the autism spectrum of disorders. Within this disorder you will find that the normal abnormalities and differences that they display within social interactions and they will invade and take over most of their normal functions. They also have very restricted and practice repetitive behaviour, much like those who suffer from autism and they stick to routines which can last for hours.

Some patients with this condition will fixate on a subject, a topic or an activity for hours on end and sometimes, they cannot be taken away from it because they have fixated on it for such an extended period of time. Also, they will show interest for the most strangest of things, and once they express this interest, they will find out all they can about it. Another thing that can impede the normal life of a child of course if the developmental side of the disorder, which prevents the child from developing their speech and language capabilities. These are the very basics of communication that should be available to all children and Asperger's prevents them from developing them normally.

When looking at the mechanics of speech, intonation, syntax and enunciations, children with this condition may not be able to develop them properly.
