It doesn't matter how big or small a gift is as long as it comes from the heart. It doesn't even matter if you've spent many or just a single dime to buy the gift. The best gift for special occasions is the ones which are priceless. If you think hard about it, you will find there are many things you can give. It is not about just for the sake of giving but also to make the person you give the gift to be happy. Giving expensive gifts are not necessary. You can find many ways to deal with gift giving.



When shopping or even thinking of gifts, you have to consider the person you are giving it to. His likes, attitudes, outlook and the things he loves. You can never think or shop for a gift without thinking about that person. He is the subject of the matter after all. This is especially true in all gifts giving whether the person you want to give the gift to be your parents, best friend or your special someone. You should always bear into mind the person you give the gift to and paint his picture in your mind.

Pour all your love to the gift. This would mean you have to share a part of yourself when gift-giving. Your gift to someone when representing yourself is the most heart-warming gift of all. You can never truly give something without imparting yourself in it. Whatever gift it is when poured with all your love will be the most beautiful and most precious gift you can give. After all, it isn't the gift per se but the intentions and the meaning of gift giving that matters.

Nothing beats hand-made gifts. There will come at some point of time that gifts found in gift shops or department stores would never suffice with what we really want to give. There will come a time where those gifts we buy are never really the kind of gift we want to give in the first place. Those are the times when handmade gifts are essential for us to really express what we feel are what we think onto the gifts. Personally, I find it very great to receive gifts that are handmade by the person giving it to me. It would only mean one thing, that person has never found the best and right gift to give me, simply because those ready made gifts are just not enough. It would truly make me feel special and important to that person.

No matter what gift we give, always remember that we should incorporate into it our smile, our time and our love. Then and only then that we can prove how important and how special the person we give the gifts to. Above everything else, nothing else matters except our intentions behind gift giving and it is to make someone happy. This should be the first and foremost idea that should come to our mind.
