The psychic hotline is an interesting place to learn about psychics. Many psychics work for psychic hotlines because they can take calls from the privacy of their own homes and actually give psychic readings. Many psychics choose to work on psychic hotlines rather than working for themselves because they don't have to cover the costs of advertising. The only downfall to working for a psychic hotline is that you only get paid around $12.00-$18.00 per hour. This may sound good to some. However, you are only paid when the client stays on the telephone with you. You are not paid as an employee would get paid. You are an independent contractor and this means that you are responsible for creating your own hours and your own time on the telephone. If you don't think that you can hold a call for any long length of time, then you should not work for a psychic hotline. You must really be psychic in order to work on a psychic hotline. Clients can usually spot out the fakes in just a couple of minutes on the telephone.
If you are not psychic, then I highly discourage you from becoming a psychic hotline operator. I say this because you will find that earning a living this way is extremely difficult. A client can usually spot out a true psychic from a fake one in a matter of seconds. You also should not work on a psychic hotline if you are just shaking around a crystal ball and giving someone general information. The psychic clients of today are ready to receive truth. They are looking to receive information about their love, money and career lives. They want answers now and they feel that if you are psychic, then you should be able to tell them something different about their lives. The psychic industry has grown into a complete monster because people are searching for answers and they are seeking out information from those that are truly gifted with accurate psychic insights. You can learn a lot about the psychic industry if you study books on the topic.
If you think that you can "fish" for information from your client, then you are dead wrong. Psychic clients know when someone is trying to get information out of them, just as most consumers are aware when a business is trying to rip them off. If you are not psychic, then you will not be able to maintain a business on the psychic hotline. The word will get around quickly as to whom you are and to stay clear away from you. A person that knows nothing about the future should never try to learn anything about the psychic industry.
Most psychic companies now screen their psychics before actually putting them onto a website or a psychic hotline because there are a lot of scam artists out there claiming that they are psychic. The truth of the matter is that you must be psychic in order to have a psychic business on the psychic hotline or on the World Wide Web. Try to keep in mind that you can become psychic if you are called to this sort of work. Your best bet is to pray to God and ask him to lead you to something that you are good at so that you can make the most money that you possibly can in this lifetime. Remember that you are in charge of your own spiritual destiny.
Help Getting A Job
Your weekly job search through the paper is half hearted and fruitless. There seems to be nothing suitable around and you continue in this depressing downward spiral for some time.
So, what is the problem? Other people seem to be able to find their dream job, yet it is still out of your reach.
Sometimes, you have to look further than the local paper for the answer to a problem. Have you considered that the problem with your fruitless job search may be your attitude? Maybe an adjustment in your outlook won't get you the job you are looking for immediately but it will help with the search.
Look for more inspiration, know your worth and different solutions will come to light.
As Winston Churchill once said 'A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity, an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty'.
With the wrong attitude, you won't see the answer to your problems even when it's staring you in the face. Job searches will throw up various possiblities but with the wrong outlook you will convice yourself that you're not worthy, you couldn't do it or they wouldn't want you.
If you look for every avenue of job search's, your broaden the possiblity of finding the right job for you. If you take the initiative and get out there and be seen, applying to places that are not even advertising for staff, you stand a good chance of being in the right place at the right time.
Success in your job search is very much dependant on the effort you put in. No job is going to fall into your lap - particularly if you have that pessimistic outlook. Companies want upbeat staff that have something to offer other than the fact that they can carry out stated tasks and most of us surely want a job where we can be ourselves and enjoy our work.
It is of utmost importance to approach your job search with a positive, confident outlook. It is of equal importance to not appear arrogant and pushy. As with all things in life, balance is what is needed. Too many people overvalue what they are not and undervalue what they are. Often this is done with a view to fitting in with those around them. But do employers want more of what they already have?
It is important to know your strengths, to be able to play these up and apply them to the right job. If you're looking to stretch yourself a little then say so, point out your willingness to learn. Do not point out areas of weakness when looking for jobs. Don't look at anything as obstacles because you can't do it. Look at it as something you have yet to learn.
If there is any aspect of your yearned for career that you feel out of your depth with, look into the possibilites of further education and see yourself on that path to your new job. This way, you may be suffering the every day grind in a job you don't like but there will be light at the end of tunnel with the satisfaction that you are making head way to reach that goal.
Change your thoughts and watch your world change too.
