To keep your brushes from stiffening up after multiple uses with paints or glue, you may want to clean them up with your hands after every use with just a little bit of soap and warm water. If they're already hardened, a good way to soften them up would be to put them in a cup with some water mixed with a little bit of fabric softener. Leave it for a couple of hours and your brushes would be as good as new.

If you do a lot of painting, you might want to spread out some pieces of newspaper on your working table to keep paint from getting all over your furniture. This is also a good way to clean up easily after every hobby session. If you're going to use newspaper for this purpose, try placing several layers of it so the paints or glue won't bleed through.

You can take away glue stains from cloth, or from any other surface with just a bit of rubbing alcohol. The alcohol is a really good solvent for glue and easily removes it. If the glue hardened, rubbing alcohol can still remove it. So keep a bottle handy, just in case.

If you want your bottles to unscrew easily, you can try covering them up with some plastic wrap first before screwing the lid in. You'll soon discover that this prevents your previously opened paint or glue bottles from crusting up and it will also make opening the bottles a lot less harder.

Put the sticky loop on the eraser end of a pencil and use that to hold the item you are painting. Afterwards, you can dry it by leaving the pencil in a cup or pencil holder for a while.
