Have you ever had to watch a friend or a relative suffer with a debilitating disease or injury? Did you feel helpless and wish you could do something to assist in their recovery? Most experts say that you cannot heal another person BUT, you can help activate and enhance the healing energy in their body which enables them to heal themselves.



Here is a suggestion of something to try. Have your friend lie on their back on a bed, couch, massage table or even a pallet on the floor. For about one minute, stand there comfortably, back straight, legs slightly apart and bent, tongue lightly touching the roof of your mouth and both thumbs gently touching the tips of the pointer fingers. Breathe slowly but deeply, in and out. While inhaling, imagine the heat from the sun radiating into the top of your head. At the same time, feel the cold energy from ice and snow flowing into your feet. As you exhale, feel the two energies shooting up and down your body and going down your arms and collecting on the palms of your hands. After the minute is up sit, stand or kneel by your friend.

Energy work practitioners recognize seven energy centers in the human body and each one has a corresponding color of the rainbow. Number one includes the tip of the spine (coccyx), the perineum and the genital area and its color is red. Number two is about one inch below the navel. The Chinese call this area the Dan Tien. The color is orange. Number three is the solar plexus and the color is yellow. Number four is the heart and the color is emerald green. Number five is the neck and the color is blue. Number six is the third-eye area on the forehead above the nose and the color is purple (indigo). Number seven is the crown of the head and the color is white (ultra-violet).

Starting with chakra number one, hold your hands about six inches out from the chakra like you are warming your hands by a roaring fire. For about ten seconds, at each chakra, imagine you are absorbing energy into your hands the color of the chakra. At the same time, say these seven sounds, either out loud or silently....AAAA....EEEE....IIII....AHHHH

....DOWW....HUUU....OHMM. The vibration of the sounds will combine with the frequencies of the colors and greatly enhance the energy being absorbed into your hands.

After doing this process at all seven chakras, then concentrate on the problem area of your friend. Again, keep your hands about six inches above the problem area with the palms pointed at the body. Imagine your hands are like trowels and you are using them to spread a thick layer of rainbow colored, pulsating plaster over the hurting or diseased area. Many people feel a tingling like an electrical current is going through their hands. Do this for at least thirty minutes or until the tingling feeling stops. Tell your friend to lay there and rest for a minute. If they get up too quickly, they might be slightly dizzy and disoriented.

This technique raises the vibrational frequency of both people. The power of the human spirit is enormous! You have no need to ever feel helpless again.
