In order to grow a successful home-based business, you need a blueprint. This is not a blueprint that your company will ever offer you. They don't want you to fail by any means, but in order for them to stay in business, they must do the best with what they have. Since they are only really responsible for providing you with a product to distribute, the best that you can ever hope for from any company sponsored training is education on a basic level inflated with a lot of hype and inspiration.
Don't get me wrong, they do want you to fail. But you have a better chance for success by following a different kind of blueprint that focuses on proper marketing education designed for the benefit of the home-based business owner rather than the average distributor of products.
There are five components that must exist to generate the kind of business that attracts people who will want to stick around and work with you for years to come. If you have ever signed up a bunch of people into your business just to watch them all fall off the radar one by one, keep reading! It happened to me time and time again until I changed my way of thinking and begin to implement the following blueprint.
Component #1: Become The Expert
This doesn't mean that you need to study your products and compensation plan until you know them backwards. Positioning yourself as an expert means understanding your audience. What are their needs, wants and desires? What will motivate them to get involved with your business? What solutions (for their problems) can you provide for them? Who is your target audience?
An expert knows enough not to pitch a 19-year-old college student on health and wellness. Your company will tell you to talk to everyone you see, but that's not focusing on your targeted audience. You'll get the word out just like they want, but you'll have to spend all your time weeding through everyone to find the right people. The biggest business builders are those who have an emotional attachment to the product they endorse.
Component #2: Use Updated Techniques That Attract Your Target Audience
Conference lines for sales calls should be a requirement for any business owner. They are the cheapest and most effective way to get yourself in front of a lot of people that truly have a want, need and desire for what you possess. How about pay per click advertising, writing articles, blogging and Youtube presentations? If your company is not teaching you these, you are probably being taught techniques that are outdated and usually won't work.
Component #3: Phone Mastery
If you're looking to grow a business to heights you can not even imagine, the phone must be your best friend. When you speak to prospects that already have a want and desire for your products, you can focus on solving their specific problems. Forget speaking with the kind of people you need to convince. That's a sales pitch and has no business in marketing. No matter how you generate prospects, you'll eventually need to talk to them on the phone, and if you don't know what to say it's all over.
Component #4: Internet Mastery
The Internet is an explosive tool if you know how to properly use it. Having a website just isn't enough. You need to know what to have on it, where to put what and how to tap into the mind of your prospect. Furthermore, one must know how to get targeted visitors to the website that already want and need what you have. Mastering this is the only way this tool can become powerful.
Component #5: Mastery Of The Written Word.
The well-crafted written word is the only way you can enroll associates into your business without ever speaking with them.
What kind of an impact would it be to see that your business grew by 7 people while you were sleeping? By using copy to create enticing messages you can grow a six-figure business inside of your first year. Forget company-driven pamphlets and flyers. To them it's just another product they expect you to buy to keep them in business. It does very little to grow your business and help you improve your writing skills.
95% of network marketers fail miserably because they just aren't given proper marketing education. Growing a colossal size home based business is simple, but you must become a marketer and use true, sound marketing techniques to make it happen.
Follow the steps outlined above and you'll soon find yourself following the right blueprint.
Hidden Secrets Nightmare Walkthrough
It is thought that with the first Tarot decks, the pictures and characters on the card were not the main focus.
Instead, the cards stood more for ideas and principles than the literal picture on the card. Over time, most tarot decks have become far more literal. In the case of The Chariot card, most tarot experts believe that the original meaning attached to the card was that of victory.
Ironically, the original Chariot card had very little to do with the chariot, itself. The focus of the card was usually the warrior or soldier who was in the chariot.
Most ancient decks show the passenger decked out in royal or tribal garb, almost always armed, and with the look of having just returned from a grueling battle, victorious and ready to bask in the spoils of war.
Another interesting evolution of the Chariot card has been the placement of the card in the tarot deck. Modern tarot users know the Chariot card as the seventh card of the major arcana, but throughout history, the placement of the chariot card has been as low as fourth and as high as ninth!
Other experts link the origins of the Chariot card not to victory at war, but over victory of carnal pleasures. Since the modern tarot can be traced back to Italy, most experts are in agreement that the chariot depicted on the card was taken from the many parades that featured chariots in 14th-centry Italy.
But instead of celebrating a victory at war, some believe that the chariot card has more to do with the temperance card and a victory over chastity.
It was commonly believed, and still is in parts of the world, that if a soldier is forbidden from engaging in sexual activity before battle, he will fight harder, stronger and longer.
So it is possible that there is a connection between a war and a purity origin for the Chariot card. The idea of abstaining from sexual contact is still in common use today, but in a much gentler context in the world of professional and amateur sports.
While the exact origins of each card, and each character will always be a subject of debate, it is safe to say that as different tarot decks evolved in different spots around the world, the meaning of each character differed.
The Chariot card had a closer tie to keeping your spiritual purity and physical purity while you are committing the unspeakable acts of war, while in other parts of the world, the historical meaning of the card points more to control over the uncertainties of life, much like the Wheel of Fortune card.
Of course, as is the case with all modern tarot, the exact interpretation of The Chariot will depend largely on the question asked and the tone set by the rest of the cards during your reading.
Modern interpretations of The Chariot range from positives like power, victory, honor and pride, to negatives such as egocentrism, inflexibility, impulsivity and anxiety.
Of course, if the card appears reversed in any readings, those associations would be reversed as well in the context of the original question asked.
One theme that has been associated with The Chariot from day one has been hard work. If The Chariot should appear during your next reading, know that the goal you are asking about is attainable, but it will not be easy and that your quest will require focus and commitment over a long period of time.
When The Chariot appears reversed during readings, the most common principle attached to the card is a loss of control. The theme of control and the anxiety that is associated with it is a common theme that runs throughout the modern tarot and can be associated, at least in some degree, with dozens of cards.
The Chariot card is a wonderful and interesting card with a history that is like a colorful tapestry. While each card has its own interesting history, by knowing the origins and the evolution of The Chariot, it will make your understanding and appreciation of the tarot that much more meaningful.
