High Definition Projection Television

    View:
Nonetheless, I love my husband and if he wants HD for his games...fine. I once asked him why he didn't want to save $10 and get the standard definition one. He informed me that the picture was so much more colorful and real looking when he watched it on HD.

I decided to examine this for myself since I am an avid watcher of our HDTV. I browsed several of the HD stations and found out that we had HGTV and HD History. I started watching my programs like "Dirty Jobs" and "Blow it up" on those channels instead of the regular ones.

I must declare the HD channels were much more pleasant to the eye on my HDTV than the others were. Everything was so much brighter and the color was so much truer than with the other channels. I tried to go back to the other channels once and I just couldn't do it.

I wanted the better ones! One day my spouse came into the room and without even asking he said, "I see you have finally backed down and you're watching the better picture quality." I didn't reply because I knew he was right and I should have let myself see what he meant when he just had to have the fight for $40.

Sometimes you have to listen to your spouse because he truly does know what he is talking about with technology. I am so happy that I backed down, I guess it was time. So now that I am all thrilled about this new television watching experience, my spouse told me something else that excited me.

On Feb 17, 2009, all broadcasters will be transmitting high quality signals, which mean ALL of my shows will look as great as these do. I can watch "Nip/Tuck" and "ER" in a completely new way. Anyway, the reason I am writing this is for all of you girls or guys who haven't gave these channels a chance.

I thought there was no difference at first too but now I am hooked. It's awesome what technology has done with televisions and I am excited to see what's in store for us down the road!.
High Definition Projection Television
Now I can sit in the comfort of my abode and watch what I want, when I want. My mom and dad have been watching the same TV for the past 10 years. I was just about through with the regular old pictures we had on it. I wanted the vivid, clear pictures on my friend's HDTV.

I must admit I was jealous of the TV. There is nothing like watching that type of image on a TV and then coming home to a boring, dull, and boring one. One day my parents told me at dinner they finally decided to enter the 21st century and buy an HDTV. I was so relieved.

We all went to the electronics store to look around. When my parents saw the prices of them, they were startled. Apparently, they never priced them before and always thought it would cost a ton of money. They even said they would have probably purchased one sooner if they knew they weren't so much money.

Why didn't I ever do the research for them? Oh well, the point is that they finally decided to buy one. I was ready to sit down and savor our new HDTV when it was delivered. I had my chips and Pepsi in a glass. I sat down and my mom and dad sat next to me.

I guess I won't be able to watch exactly what I want, when I want after all. In any case, we threw in License to Wed. The picture was amazing. It was so much better than going to the movie theater in our little town in Tennessee. We didn't have to worry about tickets or being bothered by the people who commented through the entire film.

I could now watch a great movie with a great image all because of our HDTV. It didn't stop there, since we have the high definition service from our cable company we are able to watch the high definition channels. We watch FOX, CNN, and UPN shows with this high quality picture.

In the near future we will have so many other station, which will have the same awesome picture. Next year all channels will have to send high definition signals only. Bring on the High definition...we are ready!
