Vanessa Hudgens has finally come back to the limelight and spoke up after her nude photo scandal that made its way through the Internet earlier this year. Now, the star of Disney's High School Musical is ready to share her sentiments on Hollywood , and the little lessons she has learned over the course of the past months.

Turning 19 just last week, Hudgens made her film debut in movies such as Thirteen and Thunderbirds, before experiencing real stardom in the 2006 hit Disney Channel made-for-TV film, High School Musical. She earned even more attention when her on-screen chemistry with leading man Zac Efron turned into a real life relationship, which soon became the topic of every teen magazine.

"It is a dog-eat-dog world," Hudgens said in a conversation with the Daily Telegraph. "People want to know about people's business'no one really has a sense of privacy because everyone is trying to get into your business. And people become jaded and infatuated with Hollywood . I think it happens to a lot of celebrities and it messes with their head."

High School Musical has indeed brought Hudgens huge success, as she had garnered a number of offers and endorsements, including a contract with Old Navy, Neutrogena and Ecko line. Playing Gabriella Montez on the Disney hit film has also showcased her singing and dancing talents, thus she took the opportunity to launch her musical career with her debut solo album entitled "V."

However, after all the controversy being thrown at Hudgens, she has now come to realize that stardom indeed does come with a price. Since her successful stint with Disney, the young actress has been constantly followed by the press, and has been closely scrutinized by the public. Back in September, a nude photo of her scattered all over the Internet, thus causing uproar from her fans and hate-fans, alike. Today, however, she has learned from her mistakes and admits that she's wise enough to know the show business has a way of "chewing up celebrities." Despite that, she is still thankful to her fans who have stood by her from the very beginning.

"I don't like people staring at me all the time and I don't want people following me around," she admitted. "I became an actress and started singing and dancing because I truly loved it. I did not want to be a celebrity; I did it because I genuinely enjoy doing it. I think fame is just something that comes along when you are in something that is such a success."
