Historic City Of Malacca In Malaysia

In the day time you can spend your leisure time to the many historical sites, and at night you can find all kinds of entertainment available. When night falls, it is normal that tourists stroll slowly along the seafront in search of the many different types of food and cooking, east and west. Places of interest

Formosa was built by the Portuguese in 1511 after Admiral Alfonso D Albuquerque managed to capture the Malay sultanate of Malacca. It was built as a fort and is supposed to prevent the Portuguese garrison to be attacked by the men of the sultan. Some parts of the fort was deemed to be fifteen feet thick and as many feet below the earth as well! In 1641, Dutch, with the support of the Sultan of Johor forces, has managed to wow the command of Portuguese fort. Due to heavy shelling, much of the fort was destroyed.

the most photographed buildings in Malacca today. Visitors should not miss the opportunity to break a picture of this because it remains a historic building that is 500 years.
